Pur Cheval gère deux fermes dédiées à l’élevage et à l’entraînement du Cheval Islandais exclusivement, l’une en France (l’Huilerie), l’autre en Islande. Les propriétaires Ólafur Ólafsson et Ingibjörg Kristjánsdóttir, cavaliers depuis toujours, ont su s’entourer d’une équipe

professionnelle et hautement qualifiée, gage d’un accompagnement parfait de tout passionné du Cheval Islandais.
• Nos chevaux aux excellentes origines (11 juments de 1ère catégorie, associées aux meilleurs étalons) garantissent de hautes performances techniques, du tempérament et de la prestance.
• Débourrage, perfectionnement des allures et de leur aptitude sous la selle… Notre longue expérience nous permet de faire ressortir le meilleur de chacun de nos chevaux.
• Nous sélectionnerons pour vous le cheval idéal, adapté aux objectifs et envies du futur propriétaire dont nous assurerons la formation.

Pur Cheval 2026 is taking shape and we’re SO excited!!
 Join us from 29–31 May in the Loire Valley for another DOUBLE World Ranking competition.

This year, we’re also adding a few new elements to the programme, including a children’s category and a flag race.

It’s all coming together nicely, and we can’t wait to share more. Registration opens very soon, so stay tuned.

Introducing Dalur frá Miðhrauni! A beautiful and tall 4-year-old stallion who’s already catching our eye. With his calm presence, strong conformation and promising movements, Dalur is definitely one to watch. As the maternal half-brother of Gljátoppur frá Miðhrauni, the 2023 World Champion in T2, he has impressive roots and is already starting to carve out a path of his own.

Voici Dalur frá Miðhrauni ! Un magnifique étalon de 4 ans, grand et élégant, qui ne passe pas inaperçu. Doté d’un caractère posé, d’une belle conformation et de mouvements prometteurs, Dalur attire déjà l’attention. Demi-frère maternel de Gljátoppur frá Miðhrauni, champion du monde 2023 en T2, il semble bien parti pour tracer son propre chemin.

We can’t believe it has already been three months since Pur Cheval 2025! What an unforgettable weekend it was.
A huge thank you to the FFCI and to Crinières Islandaises for this fantastic article about our competition. We are so grateful for the spotlight on the riders, the horses and the spirit of our event.

We are already looking forward to the next one. Pur Cheval 2026 cannot come soon enough!
