Pour certains, c’est le bout du monde. Pour nous, c’est le terrain. 🇵🇬

Cette fois-ci, retour en Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée, un terrain que nos équipes connaissent bien.

L’objectif de la mission : remplacer deux caissons endommagés sur une station infrasons située près de Rabaul, dans la province de East New Britain.

Et ces deux-là avaient déjà pris un peu d’avance ! Fabriqués à Lambesc chez l’un de nos fournisseurs, ces caissons de plus de 500 kg chacun avaient été expédiés en amont. Difficile de les glisser dans les bagages…

Une fois arrivés, place à l’intervention : démontage, installation, recâblage, réalisation de tests… et, comme souvent sur le terrain, quelques imprévus à gérer.

Cette fois-ci, des souris avaient notamment décidé de s’attaquer à un des câbles GPS et aux fibres optiques…

Quelques jours plus t**d, les nouveaux caissons ont été installés et les équipements transmettaient à nouveau leurs données. Une mission menée main dans la main avec notre partenaire local.

Et pour Valentin BOITOUT , arrivé dans l’équipe fin août, difficile d’imaginer meilleure entrée en matière : première mission Enviroearth, direction la Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée ! 🌏

For some, it’s the end of the world. For us, it’s the field.🇵🇬

This time, we’re back in Papua New Guinea, a place our teams know well.

The mission: replace two damaged vaults at an infrasound station near Rabaul, in East New Britain province.

And they already had a bit of a head start! Manufactured in Lambesc by one of our suppliers, these enclosures, each weighing over 500 kg, had been shipped ahead of the team’s arrival. Not exactly something you can fit in your luggage…

Once on site, it was time to get to work: dismantling, installation, rewiring, testing… and, as is often the case in the field, dealing with a few unexpected surprises.

This time, some mice had decided to make a meal out of GPS antenna cable and fiber optic cables.

A few days later, the new vaults were installed, and the equipment was transmitting data again. A mission successfully carried out hand in hand with our local partner.

And for Valentin, who joined the team at the end of August, it’s hard to imagine a better introduction: his first Enviroearth assignment, straight to Papua New Guinea! 🌏

Du solaire pour les cantines de 14 écoles à São Tomé-et-Príncipe

Il y a ce qu’on prévoit. Et puis il y a la réalité du terrain.

Sur le papier : 14 écoles primaires à équiper, réparties entre les deux îles de São Tomé et Príncipe.

Sur le terrain : des sites parfois isolés, une logistique complexe et des infrastructures électriques qui nous ont réservé quelques surprises.

Mais c’est aussi ça, l’aventure : s’adapter, se challenger et trouver des solutions.

De janvier 2025 à juin 2026, nos équipes ont travaillé aux côtés de notre partenaire local pour améliorer les installations électriques des écoles : rénovation des équipements existants, installation de systèmes solaires avec batteries et mise en place de matériel de cuisine électrique, notamment des autocuiseurs. ☀️

L’objectif ? Maintenir l’accès à l’électricité malgré les longues coupures du réseau, réduire la dépendance au bois pour la cuisson et limiter les fumées liées à sa combustion.

Le projet s’est achevé en juin 2026, mais notre accompagnement ne s’est pas limité à la mise en service des installations. La transmission a également occupé une place essentielle : former les utilisateurs, partager les bonnes pratiques et créer des passerelles avec l’université locale pour contribuer à la formation des futurs ingénieurs et techniciens.

Un projet mené main dans la main avec notre partenaire local, que nous remercions pour son engagement et la qualité de son travail. Une collaboration qui se poursuit aujourd’hui à travers de nouveaux projets à São Tomé-et-Príncipe.🤝

Solar power for the canteens of 14 schools in São Tomé and Príncipe

There’s what you plan. And then there’s the reality on the ground.

On paper: 14 primary schools to equip, spread across the two islands of São Tomé and Príncipe.

On the ground: sometimes remote locations, complex logistics, and existing electrical infrastructure that brought its fair share of surprises.

But that’s also part of the adventure: adapting, challenging ourselves, and finding solutions.

From January 2025 to June 2026, our teams worked alongside our local partner to improve the schools’ electrical infrastructure: upgrading existing installations, installing solar power systems with battery storage, and providing electric cooking equipment, including electric pressure cookers. ☀️

The goal? To maintain access to electricity despite long power outages, reduce dependence on wood for cooking, and limit the smoke generated by its combustion.

The project was completed in June 2026, but our support went well beyond commissioning the installations. Knowledge sharing was also a key part of the project: training users, sharing best practices, and building links with the local university to help train the next generation of engineers and technicians.

This project was carried out hand in hand with our local partner, whom we would like to thank for their commitment and the quality of their work. And our collaboration doesn’t end here, as we are already working together on new projects in São Tomé and Príncipe. 🤝

Refonte du système de communication aux Açores 🇵🇹

Chez Enviroearth, certaines missions commencent là où les routes s’arrêtent.

Au cœur de la forêt des Açores, Nicolas Berlot et Bruce Donot sont intervenus en binôme pour résoudre un problème de communication empêchant les numériseurs de transmettre correctement leurs données via les infrastructures existantes.

Une intervention menée à plusieurs niveaux :

• Installation de 2 IP de référence reliés aux Vault (caissons hermétiques) pour renforcer la précision des mesures ;

• Rénovation du système de communication sur 8 sites distincts, avec notamment le remplacement des armoires de communication. Chaque site regroupe un système de réduction de bruit (WNRS) ainsi qu’un Vault abritant les équipements scientifiques et de communication ;

• Reprise des équipements d’alimentation et de communication via la
fibre ;

• Refonte complète de la baie informatique du CRF, véritable point central du dispositif auquel sont reliés les 8 sites et depuis lequel les données sont transmises au date center du client

Une mission qui illustre toute l’expertise de nos équipes : comprendre l’existant, diagnostiquer les dysfonctionnements, s’adapter aux contraintes du terrain et mettre en œuvre des solutions concrètes pour fiabiliser durablement les systèmes.

Revamping the Communication System in the Azores 🇵🇹

At Enviroearth, some missions begin where the roads end.

Deep in the forests of the Azores, Nicolas Berlot and Bruce Donot joined forces in the field to solve a communication issue that was preventing the digitizers from reliably transmitting their data through the existing infrastructure.

The mission involved several key operations:

• Installation of 2 reference IPs connected to the Vaults (sealed enclosures) to improve measurement accuracy;
• Upgrade of the communication system across 8 separate sites, including the replacement of communication cabinets. Each site includes a Wind Noise Reduction System (WNRS) and a Vault housing the scientific and communication equipment;
• Upgrade of the power supply and fiber-optic communication equipment;
• Complete overhaul of the CRF server rack, the central hub of the entire system, connecting all 8 sites and transmitting their data to the client’s data center.

A mission that reflects the full range of our teams’ expertise: understanding existing systems, diagnosing issues, adapting to challenging field conditions, and implementing practical solutions to improve the long-term reliability of critical systems.

📡 Le réseau s’agrandit !

Dans le cadre de l’extension du réseau en France de stations GNSS de l’un de nos clients, les équipes Enviroearth l’accompagnent dans le déploiement de nouvelles installations.

En septembre, Maxime G et Jonathan M se sont rendus en Occitanie pour installer deux nouvelles stations GNSS, l’une près de Saint-Girons, en Ariège, et l’autre à Baraqueville, en Aveyron.📍

Avant l’intervention, une visite préalable des deux sites a permis à nos équipes d’identifier les emplacements les plus adaptés et d’anticiper les différents besoins techniques nécessaires à l’installation.

🔧 Place ensuite au terrain : installation des antennes et des coffrets GNSS, configuration du matériel, raccordements et vérification du bon fonctionnement des équipements.

De l’étude du site à la mise en service des stations, nos équipes assurent ainsi un accompagnement technique complet, pour garantir une installation adaptée aux spécificités de chaque environnement.

📡 The network is growing!

As part of the expansion of one of our clients' GNSS station network in France, the Enviroearth teams are supporting them in the deployment of new stations.

In September, Maxime G and Jonathan M travelled to the Occitanie region to install two new GNSS stations, one near Saint-Girons, in Ariège, and the other in Baraqueville, Aveyron.📍

Prior to the installation, a preliminary site visit enabled our teams to identify the most suitable locations for the stations and anticipate the various technical requirements needed for the installation.

🔧 Then it was time to get to work on site: installing the antennas and GNSS cabinets, configuring the equipment, completing the necessary connections, and checking that everything was operating correctly.

From the initial site assessment to the commissioning of the stations, our teams provide comprehensive technical support to ensure that each installation is tailored to the specific requirements of its environment.

Retour de mission pour Florian Andrieux au Ghana 🇬🇭

Notre Chef de Projet rentre du Ghana après plus d’une semaine sur le terrain, consacrée à la visite de site et à la préparation de la prochaine étape : l’installation d’un système solaire de 12kW/20kWh. ☀️

La mission s’est déroulée au sein du camp d’entraînement des forces militaires ghanéennes, qui seront ensuite déployées à Bentiu, au Soudan du Sud, pour contribuer à la sécurité des civils et au maintien du camp.
Le projet se poursuit donc au Ghana, en complément des opérations menées au Soudan du Sud.

Mission update from Ghana for Florian Andrieux🇬🇭

Our Project Manager is back from Ghana after spending more than a week in the field, carrying out a site survey and preparing for the next stage: the installation of a 12kW/20kWh solar system. ☀️

The mission took place at the Ghanaian military training camp, where the troops will subsequently be deployed to Bentiu, South Sudan, to contribute to the protection of civilians and the security of the camp.

The project is therefore moving forward in Ghana, complementing the operations already underway in South Sudan.

Retour sur le World Clean Up Day !

Vendredi 18 septembre, nous avons participé au World Clean Up Day, aux côtés des entreprises de la Zone Industrielle de la Pile à Saint-Cannat.

À l’initiative de l’ APAEP, l’association des entreprises de la zone, les participants se sont mobilisés pendant une heure pour ramasser les déchets présents aux abords de la zone d’activité.

Au total, cette mobilisation collective a permis de collecter :
🗑️ 73 kg de déchets ménagers et issus des activités économiques
♻️ 18 kg de déchets recyclables
🚬 320 g de mégots de cigarette

👏 Merci à AGORA pour l’organisation de cette initiative et à toutes les entreprises mobilisées pour contribuer, à leur échelle, à un environnement plus propre.

Chez Enviroearth, nous sommes convaincus que les engagements environnementaux passent aussi par ces actions concrètes menées localement.

A look back at World Clean Up Day!

On Friday, September 18, we took part in World Clean Up Day, alongside other companies from the La Pile Industrial Zone in Saint-Cannat.

At the initiative of AGORA, the local business association, participants joined forces for one hour to collect litter in and around the industrial area.

Altogether, this collective effort resulted in the collection of:
🗑️ 73 kg of household and business waste
♻️ 18 kg of recyclable waste
🚬 320 g of cigarette butts

👏 A big thank you to AGORA for organizing this initiative, and to all the companies that took part and contributed, in their own way, to a cleaner environment.

At Enviroearth, we believe that environmental commitment also comes through concrete actions carried out at a local level.

Présentation de Cathy, salariée chez Enviroearth depuis Novembre 2025.

Après des expériences dans des univers aussi variés que le médical, l’hôtellerie, le vin, la petite enfance ou encore la grande distribution, Cathy a rejoint Enviroearth en tant qu’Assistante de Direction.

Ce qui l’a particulièrement attirée chez Enviroearth ? 🌱
La volonté d’agir concrètement pour l’environnement, mais aussi l’impact social des projets menés auprès des populations locales. Une dimension humaine qui fait écho à ses propres valeurs.

Dans son quotidien, Cathy apprécie particulièrement ce rôle « dans l’ombre » : gérer, coordonner, organiser, assurer la confidentialité des informations et contribuer au bon fonctionnement de l’entreprise. Un travail parfois peu visible, mais essentiel pour que les rouages s’emboîtent au mieux.
