We have reached an important milestone in our innovation journey with the opening of a new R&D center in Lat Krabang, Thailand, officially inaugurated by His Excellency, Paolo Dionisi, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand and Dr Sumet Tangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand : IEAT.

Located near our major manufacturing facilities, the 5,000 sqm hub strengthens the integrated between research and manufacturing, accelerating the development and scaling of next-generation vision care solutions, wearables and medical technologies.

With state-of-the-art research laboratories, development platforms, characterization facilities, and collaborative workspaces, the center advances research of high-performance optical lens materials and manufacturing technologies while embedding sustainability from design to production.

This new R&D Hub further strengthens our global innovation network to deliver better-performing, more sustainable solutions to people worldwide, faster than ever.

At , the convergence of science, technology, and data in eye care was evident.

For the first time, we brought together Vision Care and Medical Technologies in a unified, science-led presence, alongside Essilor, Espansione Group, Heidelberg Engineering US, and Retinai.

This integration across research, technology, and clinical practice was reflected in areas such as myopia management, advanced imaging, AI-driven analytics, surgery and light-based therapeutic approaches, spanning the full continuum from discovery to patient impact.

Through scientific exchange and dialogue with the global eye and health care community, our teams contributed to strengthening the evidence base for clinical practice and supporting its translation into real-world patient impact.
