From our neighbouring country 🇺🇾, meet PHORO —a music producer and designer— and VIPER, her custom creation.
“From the very beginning, I wanted my controller to be small and portable because mobility becomes a major factor when you're performing in many different venues. I'm interested in keeping my setup as compact as possible, both for practicality and for faster setup times.”
In her dancefloor-focused project she champions rhythms such as techno, electro, trance, and minimal. In her band project, she explores songwriting, singing and playing various instruments, with trip-hop and experimental electronic influences.
“At some point, I discovered Yaeltex controllers, and it was a revelation. As both an industrial designer and a musician, I found in them the perfect combination of design and functionality. The possibility of creating a tool tailored specifically to my way of performing was fascinating.”
For her, customization isn't about adding more, it's about refining what matters. “The idea was to eliminate everything superfluous and focus exclusively on the tools I use live, allowing me to interact with Ableton Live in a much more direct and personal way.”
