🌐 FLC1800 – High-Performance Buoy for Navigation Channels

The FLC1800 buoy from FullOceans is engineered for reliable and precise navigation channel marking, offering outstanding stability and visibility in demanding marine environments.

With a diameter of 1800 mm, a total height of over 2.7 meters, and a volume of 1544 liters, the FLC1800 delivers excellent buoyancy and sea-keeping performance. Its optimized draft (560 mm) and freeboard (521 mm) ensure a stable position in the water, even in challenging conditions.

The FLC1800 is ideally suited for port-hand and starboard-hand marking, fully compliant with IALA Region A and Region B systems, and can also be configured as a special mark. Its modular design supports a wide range of topmarks and marine lanterns, making it adaptable to many signaling requirements.

Built for durability, the buoy features a UV-stabilized polyethylene float (12 mm thickness) manufactured by rotational moulding, combined with an internal galvanized steel structure and polyurethane foam filling (30 kg/m³). This design ensures long-term structural integrity, even in demanding environments, while remaining maintenance-friendly. Integrated pigments eliminate the need for painting, preserving color compliance over time.

The visible surface area (up to 3.3 m² with high-visibility daymark) and adaptable focal plane (from 2.2 m) enhance detection both day and night.

Another key advantage is its container-optimized design, allowing efficient transport and reduced logistics costs — a critical benefit for large-scale deployments.
