Last week, together with our partner Rebiotex, we hit the road across Madrid and the surrounding region, visiting leading hospitals and major neurorehabilitation centers.

🧠 Inspiring exchanges with clinical teams sharing a common vision: bringing innovative approaches into neurorehabilitation to improve patient recovery.

From clinical discussions to hands-on demonstrations with patients, a fantastic opportunity to showcase the potential of Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (FPS).

🧠 Can functional proprioceptive stimulation support rehabilitation from the earliest days after spinal cord injury?

A randomized pilot study by Martinache et al. (2025) investigated the feasibility and potential benefits of early Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation ( ) with Vibramoov in 10 patients with high spinal cord injury.

📊 Key findings:
✅ Safe and feasible use in the ICU, starting within the first days after injury.
✅ No negative impact observed on intracranial pressure.
✅ A trend toward short-term spasticity reduction and muscle relaxation following FPS sessions
✅ Positive effects on patients' motivation to engage in rehabilitation.

These preliminary findings suggest that FPS may be a valuable complement to early rehabilitation, even in intensive care.

Last week, Fisioexpo was the place to be — and a great opportunity to bring closer to the Spanish community.

A big thank you to our partner Rebiotex, and especially Rafael, Enrique & Javier 👏 for the energy, the discussions… and the great teamwork!

What we particularly enjoyed?
Seeing how complementary technologies can work together to open new perspectives in Neurorehabilitation — combining approaches, sharing expertise and keeping one objective in mind: getting patients moving. 🧠⚡️

🇫🇷 Great days at SOFMER 2026, under the blue skies of Marseille! ☀️
It was a pleasure to join our partner Médimex - Evaluation / Rééducation / Performance at SOFMER congress last week and to share many great discussions around and its disruptive approach to .

From clinical practice to research projects, the exchanges highlighted the growing interest in proprioceptive stimulation and its potential across different neurological conditions.

👏 Congratulations to Sophie Julliand and Anne Mock for their oral presentation on upper-limb after stroke, and to Laura Consigny for presenting a compelling case involving peripheral with severe impairment.
Great to see clinical experience, research and innovation coming together around new approaches to neurorehabilitation.

Thank you to MEDIMEX, all the speakers, clinicians and researchers we had the chance to meet in Marseille!

🧠 Can early local muscle vibration limit spasticity after stroke?

A recent randomized, placebo-controlled study by Julliand et al. explored the effects of Local Muscle Vibration (LMV) during the early subacute phase after stroke, using .

👥 In 42 patients, preliminary findings suggest that LMV, combined with conventional rehabilitation, may help limit the development of wrist-flexor spasticity and support upper-limb motor recovery.

Interestingly, the results also point toward mechanisms beyond spinal excitability, potentially involving sensorimotor cortical engagement.

🦵 A closer look at our recent publication on early rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction — with the study protocol and key results summarized in this carousel.

In this randomized controlled trial involving 24 patients, adding synchronized Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (FPS) to Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) resulted in greater improvements in active knee mobility during the first two weeks of rehabilitation.

📈 Active knee ROM improved by +48.6° with CPM + FPS, compared with +31.4° with CPM alone — a 55% greater improvement.

These promising findings suggest that FPS are a valuable adjunct to conventional physiotherapy, particularly during the early rehabilitation phase when active participation is still limited.

This international symposium will bring together leading scientists and clinicians in neuroscience and rehabilitation to explore the latest advances, scientific evidence and clinical applications of focal vibration.
The program will bridge neurophysiology and clinical practice, with discussions spanning neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, pain management, sensorimotor recovery, gait, postural control, proprioception, muscle tone and spasticity.
