With a Master/Slave architecture, a secondary controller continuously monitors the primary controller and is ready to take over automatically in less than 200 ms, deterministically, without human intervention.

Our distributor ND Importaciones recently delivered a technical training session on CRE Technology’s AMF COMPACT controller for the teams of Nicaragua Machinery Company (NIMAC), Caterpillar representative in Nicaragua.

Focused on ATS operation, troubleshooting, and i4Gen Suite 2 usage, the session combined practical exercises with field-oriented configuration topics.

We are proud to see CRE Technology solutions at the heart of the smartgrid powering the Grand Port Maritime de la Martinique.

Led by VALOREM and its group of local partners (SEREC, So Watt, DAC Antilles, IB Consult, Colorado), this ambitious project aims to cover 50% of the container terminal's consumption at Pointe des Grives through photovoltaic self-consumption.

As part of this project, SEREC integrated 6 CRE Technology controllers to orchestrate all the smartgrid's energy sources:
↳ 1 MASTER COMPACT - grid incomer management
↳ 1 GENSYS COMPACT PRIME - control of the Cummins 1,675 kVA genset
↳ 3 HYBRID COMPACT - supervision of the 3 photovoltaic fields (1.34 MWp combined, Huawei inverters)
↳ 1 BAT COMPACT - management of the BESS storage system (1.4 MW, SUNGROW inverter)

In hospitals, power resilience is measured in seconds.

When the grid fails, the clock starts. Even the fastest generators need up to 10 seconds to start and stabilize.

In operating rooms and ICUs, those seconds are the most fragile window for patient safety. NFPA 110 makes it a hard threshold: power must be restored within 10 seconds for life-support systems Powersecure.

Generators alone don't make that promise. The controller does, by detecting mains failure, sequencing breakers, and switching loads with deterministic timing.

This is what industrial generator controllers are built for: critical mains backup with redundancy, so that the facility can operate continuously. In healthcare, "almost reliable" isn't an option.
