From fundamentals to hybrid power plants
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our clients to a 4-day complimentary training seminar in Taverny, near Paris.
The objective was simple: provide engineers, integrators and technical decision-makers with a clear and progressive understanding of power plant control, from conventional genset applications to advanced hybrid energy systems, using our COMPACT controller range and software tools.
Over the four days, we covered a wide range of technical topics:
↳ Day 1 — Fundamentals
Speed and voltage regulation, PID principles, synchronization, load sharing between gensets and mains, and a first hands-on introduction to i4Gen Suite.
↳ Day 2 — Configuration & commissioning
Parameter setup and commissioning principles for single-source and multi-source installations.
↳ Day 3 — Renewable & hybrid power plants
Integration of diesel generators, solar PV, wind power and battery storage, with a focus on dispatchable and intermittent energy sources.
↳ Day 4 — Advanced configuration
Hybrid system management, inverter and storage control, and custom logic implementation with EasyFlex.
A big thank-you to all the participants who joined us for these four days of technical exchange, practical demonstrations and discussions.
We were very pleased to share our experience and to hear your questions, feedback and project challenges.
Would a hands-on training session like this be useful for your team?
