Spring dynamical response is a complex phenomena, occurring at high RPM where the the coil inertia forces are no longer negligible in comparison to static forces. 💥

Here are finally some news about the valve tappets production !
200 euros for preorder sales, limited to 20 sets. 220 euros then for regular sales.
Available around september.

Classic Line plans to provide brand new tappets for Porsche 924 all 2.0 engines (excl. CGT).

175€ excl. VAT the set of 8 for the first 40 sets sold (no VAT for European customers). Then, it will be 219€ for regular sales.

These tappets are cold formed for superior strength, at least as strong as OEM ones that are forged.
Material is OEM. Material treatment is almost identical to the OEM one. but shows both better friction and wear characteristics.
These tappets will be 10g lighter than OEM ones, but shows similar strength. This lightening is possible thanks to the manufacturing process, and to a detailed engineering study which lasted long months.
Clearance adjustment is as OEM (screw).

We need 40 sets to be secured by our customers to release these tappets. No deposit asked, just registration.

At the start of 2023 we released engine valves for 924 2.0L NA models. An other part NLA for years (or at very high rates).
Here is an example of the delivery to an other international customer : valves, guides, keys, springs etc..

We started our activity by releasing new crankshaft sensors for Porsche 924 Turbo models (S2). It was a real challenge. This sensor was unavailable for about 20 years. After a such long period, various owners had little solutions to keep their cars on the road. Since there, many cars were bring back to life hopefully :)
