Tender for Construction of Gabion Wall – 200m Length (3m Average Height, width 2m)

Project Title: Supply, Installation & Completion of Gabion Wall with Padding

Scope of Works:

We invite experienced contractors and gabion specialists to submit tenders for the following works:

✔ Construction of 200 meters Gabion Wall, average height of 3 meters x width 2m.
✔ Inclusive of foundation preparation, padding/geo mat, compact fill behind the wall, and stabilization
✔ Supply of all materials, including gabion baskets, rock fill, geo-textiles, and fasteners
✔ Complete installation, securing, and finishing of the wall structure

Specifications:
• Total Length: 200 meters
• Average Height: 3 meters x 2m width
• Gabion Type: Wire Mesh Gabion Baskets (hot-dipped galvanized or PVC coated)
• Rock Fill: Hard, durable, weather-resistant rock (as per specifications)
• Padding: Backfill, compaction, and geotextile placement where required
• Installation: To engineering standards, aligned and secured for stability

Contractor Requirements:

✅ Proven expertise in Gabion Wall Construction
✅ Licensed and Insured for civil works
✅ Timeline commitment for completion
✅ Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations

• Company profile with relevant project experience, registration, tax, FNPF compliance.
• Detailed pricing (breakdown of materials, labor, machinery, overheads)

As a Foreman, you'll be the driving force behind our construction sites. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the construction site
* Lead and manage a team of skilled workers

* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
* Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly
* Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Foreman or similar leadership role in construction

* Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Valid driver's license, material costing.
