G.M.R MUHAMMAD & SONS (PTE) LTD imports quality products from a variety of countries. These countries include: Malaysia, UK, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Brazil, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand. All products have a varied range of brands to meet the needs & budgets of the customer. Each new product imported & sold is tested by the GMR team to meet a minimum standard. G.M.R exports to countries throughout the South Pacific including: Tuvalu, Kiribati, Wallis & Futuna, Tonga, Samoa. Shipments are sent depending on the flexibility of shipping routes and schedules. We have the ability to send emergency orders through airfreight when the need arises. All genuine complaints are dealt with swiftly & a refund or replacement is given. Over the counter purchases can be refunded or replaced (within reason) provided they return the items with the receipt.

OFFICIAL RESPONSE – GMRI TotalEnergies Service Station, Nakasi
We refer to the recent Facebook post concerning the dispensing of fuel at our service station.
On 15 October 2026 at approximately 6:51 PM, a customer driving a Honda Insight purchased $15.00 of ULP, approximately 4.76 liters. The customer raised concern with our attendant that the vehicle's fuel gauge had not visibly changed after refueling.
The matter was taken seriously and investigated by our management team.
On 16 October 2026, TotalEnergies personnel attended the service station and carried out physical calibration testing of the fuel dispensers.
A TotalEnergies Maintenance Technician conducted tests using a certified 15-litre prover tank. The relevant dispenser was tested repeatedly, and further calibration checks were also carried out on the dispensers at the station.
TotalEnergies has formally confirmed that:
• The volume delivered by the dispensers matched the certified prover tank measurement.
• No variance was identified.
• The dispensers were operating accurately.
• The existing Weights and Measures calibration remains valid.
• No signs of tampering were identified.
• No issue was identified with fuel dispensing from the nozzle.
These findings have also been confirmed in writing by the VP Operations, Technical & Engineering of TotalEnergies Marketing Fiji Pte Ltd and the Manager – Retail Operations.
Regarding the customer's concern that the fuel gauge did not move after purchasing approximately 4.76 liters, a vehicle's dashboard fuel gauge should not be treated as a precise measurement of the exact quantity dispensed. Gauge readings can be affected by the vehicle's fuel-level sensor, vehicle position, existing fuel level and the time taken for the dashboard reading to update.
The Honda Insight involved has an approximate fuel tank capacity of around 40 litres, meaning the approximately 4.76 litres purchased represented only a portion of the total tank capacity. A small fuel addition, particularly when the vehicle is already showing a very low reading, may not always produce an immediate or clearly visible change on the dashboard gauge.
GMRI TotalEnergies Service Station takes customer concerns seriously and supports every customer's right to raise a genuine concern. At the same time, we believe it is important that the public is provided with the complete and verified facts.
Based on the physical calibration tests and written confirmation from TotalEnergies, the dispenser was operating correctly and accurately, with no evidence of fuel shortage, calibration error or tampering.
