A day for our people, families and community! 💙

It was wonderful to bring our employees and their families together for a memorable Family Day. From great food and fun activities to plenty of smiles, laughter and shared moments, the day was a wonderful opportunity to step away from our everyday routines and enjoy time together. More importantly, it was a chance to celebrate the people and connections that make the Hydroline community special.

There’s more to Hydroline than what we manufacture — it’s also about the people and community we build along the way.

A big thank you to our collaborating partners for helping make the day so memorable:

Since 2022, we have reduced our total energy consumption by nearly 37% while simultaneously increasing production volumes—a significant milestone in our journey towards smarter and more sustainable manufacturing. 🏭

This achievement highlights that meaningful sustainability improvements can be realized through long-term commitment, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

People are at the heart of everything we do at Hydroline. Employees’ wellbeing and building a proactive safety culture are not just initiatives – they are part of who we are. 💙

During our safety week, we focused on empowering our employees with knowledge, awareness, and practical tools to support both mental and physical wellbeing while strengthening our shared commitment to workplace safety through:

⛑️Emergency first-aid training
💪 Break workout sessions to support recovery and energy during the workday
🧠 Occupational psychologist sessions focused on mental wellbeing
🦴 Occupational physiotherapist sessions prompting long-term physical health

Our shared goal throughout the week was to actively observe our surroundings, identify improvement opportunities, and make 35 safety observations — because every observation is a step towards a safer and healthier workplace.

When people feel safe, valued, and supported, they thrive, and so does the surrounding workplace. At Hydroline, we are committed to building that culture together, every day.

Continuous improvement remains a key focus in how we develop our manufacturing operations. 🏭

As a continuation of last year’s investments in our part manufacturing, we are taking another step forward. A new lathe machine will be taken into use in April 2026, further strengthening our production capabilities, improving delivery reliability, and increasing flexibility in responding to changing demands.

In addition, an investment to the robot cell for this machine will follow later this year– marking an important step towards higher levels of automation and efficiency. 🤖

Hydroline has launched a CNC Operator Recruitment Training Program to support future workforce needs and prepare for upcoming retirements. 🏭

The 60-day program, delivered in cooperation with Savon ammattiopisto Sakky, combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on training in our production environment. 📘

Six enthusiastic participants begin their journey with us today. After completing the program, the participants are expected to transition into full-time roles at Hydroline, strengthening our team for the years ahead. 💼✨
