Yksityishuvila Villa Pista on valittu Puupalkinto 2022 finalistiksi!🥳

Happy World Architecture Day 2022! This year's theme is Architecture for well-being.

In Kalasatama Health and Well-being centre (2018), the focus is on the client's experience, and the objective was to create a public building that radiates outward care and is open and inviting. This was achieved by inviting space solutions, presence of daylight and beautiful proportions. By means of architecture, a big construction expresses care and human approach.

Highly commended in the European Healthcare Design Awards in 2018, the centre was also shortlisted for the UIA Friendly and Inclusive Spaces Award in 2019.

The World Architecture Day is celebrated annually on the first Monday of October in parallel with UN World Habitat Day. It was created in 1985 by the International Union of Architects (UIA).
