This device is a ZTE GPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT) / Fiber Router provided by Ethio Telecom (typically model ZTE ZXHN F660 or F670). It connects your home directly to Ethio Telecom’s fiber-optic internet network.
Step-by-Step Guide to Change the WLAN (Wi-Fi) Password:-
1. Connect to the Network
Connect your smartphone or computer to the router's
Wi-Fi network or plug directly into one of the LAN
ports using an Ethernet cable.
2. Open the Admin Gateway
-Open any web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
-Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press Enter.
3. Log In to the Router
-Username: admin
-Password: admin
(If admin/admin doesn't work, check the sticker on the back
or bottom of the router for custom printed login credentials,
or try username user with password user).
4. Navigate to Wi-Fi Security Settings
Go to Network \ WLAN \ Security
(or WLAN Security / Basic Settings).
5. Update Your Password
-Locate the WPA Passphrase (or WPA Pre-Shared Key) field.
-Clear the old password and enter your new password (must
be at least 8 characters long).
-(Optional) To rename your Wi-Fi network, navigate to
SSID Settings under the WLAN tab and update the
SSID Name.
6. Save Changes
-Click Submit or Apply.
-Your Wi-Fi will temporarily disconnect. Go to your phone/PC settings, forget the old Wi-Fi network, and reconnect using your new password.
