የወተት ጥራት በማየት ብቻ አይረጋገጥም፡፡ ምክንያቱም በእይን የማይታዩ ጎጂ ቅሪቶች ሊገኙ ስለሚችሉ፡፡

የወተት ደህንነትን ስናስብ፣ ትኩረታችን በወተቱ ላይ ብቻ መሆን የለበትም። ላሞች የሚመገቡት መኖ፣ የእንስሳት ሕክምና ሂደት እና ወተት የሚሰበሰብበት ጊዜ እያንዳንዱ በወተት ደህንነት ላይ ተጽዕኖ ሊኖራቸው ይችላል።

🌽 1. ከመኖ ወደ ወተት፦ የአፍላቶክሲን አደጋ
አንዳንድ የእንስሳት መኖዎች በሻጋታ የሚመረተውን አፍላቶክሲን ቢ1 (Aflatoxin B1) ሊይዙ ይችላሉ። ላሞች ይህንን ንጥረ ነገር የያዘ መኖ ሲመገቡ፣ አካላቸው ከፊሉን ወደ አፍላቶክሲን ኤም1 (Aflatoxin M1) ሊቀይረው ይችላል። ይህም በወተት ውስጥ እንዲገኝ ያደርጋል።

ስለዚህ የመኖ ጥራትን መቆጣጠር ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ የወተትን ናሙና በመመርመር የአፍላቶክሲን ኤም1 መኖርን ማረጋገጥም አስፈላጊ ነው።

💊 2. ከእንስሳት ሕክምና ወደ ወተት፦ የአንቲባዮቲክ ቅሪት
ላሞች በአንቲባዮቲክ ሲታከሙ፣ የመድኃኒቱ ቅሪት በወተት ውስጥ ሊኖር ይችላል። ለዚህም ነው እያንዳንዱ መድኃኒት የተወሰነው የወተት መውጫ ጊዜ (withdrawal period) መጠበቅ ያለበት። ይህ ጊዜ ሳይጠናቀቅ ወተት ከተሰበሰበ፣ የአንቲባዮቲክ ቅሪት ወደ ወተት አቅርቦት ሊገባ ይችላል።

የአንቲባዮቲክ ቅሪት ምርመራ የወተት አምራቾችና ሰብሳቢዎች ተገቢውን ውሳኔ እንዲወስኑ ይረዳል።
