HIMOINSA’s main strength is being a vertical manufacturer as it produces all components of the genset. Its production plants are located in China, India, Spain, France, Brazil the US and Argentina. These highly productive facilities, along with its commercial subsidiaries in Panama, Argentina, Portugal, Angola, Germany, United Kingdom, Poland, the UAE and Singapore, enable HIMOINSA to operate throughout the five continents. The multinational has supplied power to major international projects across the globe, providing solutions to construction, telecommunications, residential, data center, rental, shopping centers, mining, healthcare and industrial sectors. With outputs ranging from 3 to 3.300 kVA, the generator sets have been designed to provide both standby and continuos power. Its comprehensive offering of diesel generators is complemented by a full range of gas generators, from 8kW to 3.5kW, using a variety of gas fuels such as natural gas, biogás and LPG. HIMOINSA has designed a full range of ligting towers that are compact, robust, versatile and offer extended autonomy. With a lighting capacity of up to 1.320.000 lumens some of the towers in the APOLO range can light up an área of 110.000 square metres andhave 166-hours autonomy, equivalent to 17 nights without being refuelled.

HIMOINSA expands its business in Asia-Pacific with a new subsidiary in New Zealand.
Based in Auckland, the new operation brings our global network to 16 subsidiaries, strengthening our commercial presence and technical support for customers in and the Pacific Islands.
Building on our presence in the market since 1999, HIMOINSA New Zealand will support rental companies, electrical contractors and end users with power generation solutions for prime, backup and temporary power applications.
Led by Grant Cooper, General Manager, the subsidiary combines local market knowledge with HIMOINSA’s manufacturing capabilities to develop new business opportunities and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

The desert is the test.

There are easier places to test a power system. That’s rather the point. Heat. Dust. Sand. Long hours. Heavy demand. Critical loads. The gives equipment very few places to hide.

For HIMOINSA, that makes the event much more than a motorsport partnership. It is a chance to put generators, battery systems and lighting equipment into a live operating environment – where people genuinely depend on them.

Over the course of the event, the Himoinsa installation will deliver 200 operating hours, supply a peak demand of 1MW, supported by 20 people and – crucially – achieved zero hours of unplanned downtime.

The conditions matter too.

And this is where the desert becomes useful. Because extreme environments expose the details. How easily equipment can be deployed. How intelligently loads are managed. How effectively batteries and generators work together. And how the system responds when conditions are less than perfect.

That is information you cannot get from a brochure. You have to earn it in the desert.
