We are a small, Artisan Family Business. Est 1750. Which prides itself on quality products at reasonable prices. We use only 100% Handcrafted Real Leather.

The Leatherworker was born in Deptford, London circa 1750 doing anything and everything to do with heavy-duty leather, including any work that was needed on the barges going up and down the river Thames. The Leatherworker continues to be a small, family business, which prides itself on quality products at reasonable prices, with good, old-fashioned values where we treat people as we ourselves woul

d like to be treated. We use only the best quality leather, either vegetable-tanned full grain hide, chrome-tanned hide, or cowhide with a carbon fibre effect finish, depending on how and where it is to be applied. We do not possess machinery, any machining is outsourced to a reliable supplier who we have worked with over the past 40 years, and everything we do is cut, prepared and stitched by hand, using the twin needle saddler's stitch.
