Last weekend, we joined the Ferrari Club España (FCE) Andalucía for a unique experience in Moriles, Córdoba, a region renowned for its rich winemaking heritage and the birthplace of the prestigious Amontillado wine.

Our journey began on Saturday morning with the traditional gathering at the Ferrari showroom. We set off with 7 vehicles, including our Ferrari Amalfi, and met more members in Benalmádena, forming a group of 9 Ferraris and nearly 20 participants. From there, we enjoyed a scenic drive through Las Pedrizas on our way to Moriles.

Upon arrival, we visited the historic “Lagar de Santa Magdalena” winery, where Chea and his team welcomed us with exceptional hospitality in this beautiful setting often referred to as the “Cordoban Tuscany,” surrounded by vineyards and whitewashed country houses.

We enjoyed an extensive wine tasting and learned about the traditional winemaking process behind the region’s celebrated wines. The experience culminated in an unforgettable lunch in the winery’s main courtyard, accompanied by authentic flamenco singing and dancing.

For added comfort, we stayed overnight at Hotel Antequera Hills, where the day concluded with a delightful group dinner, and drove back on Sunday to Marbella enjoying our beautiful Andalusian landscape.
