We were pleased to welcome a group of 20 students and 2 professors from North Carolina A&T State University to EDIBON as part of their Global Engineering Leadership Program (GELP).

This initiative gives students the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into international engineering companies specialized in research, manufacturing, and design, while comparing projects and work environments across different countries.
During their visit, the students explored EDIBON’s educational technology equipment and learned more about our commitment to practical engineering education and innovation.

We would also like to thank EF Education First for organizing this enriching experience and helping connect future engineers with global industry leaders.

At EDIBON, we strongly believe in the importance of international collaboration and hands-on learning to inspire the next generation of engineers.

Proud to share our collaboration with Vaal University of Technology (VUT) in the launch of their new D104A Thermo-Fluid Laboratory and Strength of Materials Laboratory.

These new facilities bring engineering education to life, allowing students to move beyond theory and work directly with advanced, industry-relevant equipment such as hydraulics benches, material testing units, and refrigeration cycle simulators. Many of these installed equipment are provided by EDIBON, supporting a truly hands-on and practical learning experience.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to bridging academia and industry, and preparing the next generation of engineers for real-world challenges.

At EDIBON, we are proud to support this transformation in technical education.

Ships are often described as mobile power plants, where propulsion, heating and cooling systems, navigation, communications, lighting, and other essential loads depend entirely on electrical energy. Ensuring continuous and safe operation requires highly reliable power generation and distribution systems.
To study this in depth, EDIBON presents the Modular Marine Electrical Power Distribution Application (AEL-MEPD-01), designed for both theoretical and practical training in shipboard electrical power systems.

Visit the following link to watch the demonstration video of the equipment, presented by our experts: https://www.edibon.com/en/modular-marine-electrical-power-distribution-application-with-scada?video_modal=on

Would you like to learn how any of our specific equipment works? Let us know in the comments, and we will include it in upcoming content.

Green hydrogen is a 100% sustainable energy carrier, clean and versatile, with easy storage and transport thanks to the lightness of the hydrogen molecule. It plays a crucial role in reducing CO₂ emissions and advancing toward a decarbonized future.

Today, many universities and institutions are already specializing in this technology, and at EDIBON we are committed to supporting this growth by providing advanced, reliable equipment that transforms theoretical knowledge into practical experience.

Equipment such as Computer Controlled Photovoltaic Solar Energy Unit (EESFC), Electrolyzer 60 Nl/h (EDILAB-ELEC2), Computer Controlled PEM Fuel Cell Advanced Unit (EC6C), and Computer Controlled Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Application (AEL-EHVC) make it possible to bring this knowledge to life in real laboratory environments.
