The MOF4AIR project has brought together internationally renowned researchers from 25 countries with a shared goal: to achieve a 55% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2050.

In this ambitious challenge, EDIBON has played a key role as a technology partner, contributing its expertise in engineering and the manufacturing of pilot plants.
After more than two years of continuous research and innovation, the results have been outstanding: the pilot plants developed by EDIBON have achieved a 92% CO₂ reduction, significantly exceeding the project’s initial expectations.

This achievement reinforces our commitment to applied research and to developing real solutions for major energy and environmental challenges.

The Expanded Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger for TICC (TITCA) allows for detailed study of heat transfer between two fluids: the hot water flowing through an inner tube and the cold water circulating in the annular space between the inner and outer tubes.

This unit enables analysis of how heat transfer varies under different conditions, such as changes in flow rate, temperature, and type of flow (counter-current or parallel).
