What happens to EV batteries after their first life? 🔋♻️

At EDAG ENGINEERING Spain, we are developing innovative solutions to give electric vehicle batteries a second life through smart energy storage systems.

Our project focuses on:
⚡️Integrating second-life batteries into renewable energy systems.
☁️Developing a cloud-connected EMS that adapts in real time to energy prices and weather conditions.
🔋Improving battery health assessment to extend performance and lifespan.

This initiative supports a more circular and sustainable energy model, reducing waste while helping accelerate the energy transition.

At the rear, our vision for this urban car concept turns light into a sculpted surface: sharp vertical blades, floating volumes and a graphic red contour that frames the whole silhouette.

Glass, body and logo merge into a single gesture, so the tail becomes more than a functional element, it becomes an urban light sculpture in motion.
