What happens when a campervan is exposed to –15 °C?

At NORANTZ, we do not simply claim that our campervans are built for winter. We prove it with data.

At the Truma Climate Centre, the NORANTZ EKI underwent a full thermal performance test inside a climatic chamber, carried out in accordance with the European standard EN 1646-1 (Level 3) — the highest classification for use in extreme winter conditions.

The test involved cooling the vehicle down to –15 °C and, once this temperature was reached, activating the heating system to raise the interior to comfortable living conditions. The result: all requirements defined by the standard were met within the specified time, with a homogeneous heat distribution throughout the interior and a fully operational water system at –15 °C.

Thermal imaging analysis confirmed the absence of significant thermal bridges, validating both the insulation quality and the overall construction concept.

These types of tests are not common. For NORANTZ, they are essential.
Because quality is not communicated — it is verified.

✨ 2025: a year of adventure and new horizons ✨

This 2025 has taken us further than we ever imagined, from the Caravan Salon in Germany to the Salón del Caravaning in Barcelona, we have shared incredible moments with our community and showcased the passion we put into every NORANTZ 4x4 campervan.

We have welcomed our new EKI model, celebrated the trust of new distributors in Germany, Denmark and Switzerland, and we also want to thank all our other distributors who support and accompany us every day. Above all, we have created memories together with you, our customers and followers.

In 2026 the adventure continues: we will see you at the CMT fair in Stuttgart in January, with new stories to create, new roads to explore, and more kilometres of freedom to enjoy.
