With ResiTHERM® 12 wood, heavy loads can be securely fastened to insulated timber façades – efficiently and without special tools.

Installation in just four steps:
1️⃣ Drill a Ø 9 mm hole
2️⃣ Enlarge the hole in the ETICS to Ø 26 mm and a depth of 60 mm
3️⃣ Screw in ResiTHERM® 12 wood using a cordless drill/driver until the sealing ring sits firmly against the plaster surface
4️⃣ Install the attachment – done!

You can’t see thermal bridges. But you can see their consequences. 🌡️

A thermal bridge occurs wherever heat escapes more easily through the building envelope.

Post-installed fixings on insulated façades can also play a role – for example, when installing awnings, canopies or other external fixtures.

The possible consequences range from increased heat loss to moisture build-up and a higher risk of mould.

That’s why fixings in ETICS should not only provide a secure hold – thermal separation at the fixing point should also be taken into account.

Light vs. heavy fixings – the difference decides if it holds 👇

In drywall, the anchor is usually not the problem –
👉 it’s the wrong load assessment.

Many treat every fixing the same. That’s the mistake. 👇

👉 Light fixings
(e.g. pictures, small shelves)
✔️ Low load
✔️ Minimal leverage
✔️ Fast & easy installation

Typical solutions:
• GKD (plasterboard anchor) → no pre-drilling, super fast
• HR (light-duty hollow wall anchor) → simple & cost-effective
