🇬🇧 Struggling to choose the right wing foil equipment? 😅

With so many options on the market, it can be difficult to choose the right gear. What size board, wing, and foil should you pick? 🤔

✅ Board (Volume): The recommended board volume depends on the user's weight and skill level. Beginners can go for a board with a volume roughly equal to their weight in kg multiplied by 2 (for example, if you're a beginner and weigh 70 kg, you can multiply your weight by 2 ➡️ 70 kg x 2 = 140 liters). As you progress, look for a board with less volume relative to your weight; a shorter and thinner board increases maneuverability and performance. 🏄♂️
(A longer and wider board provides more stability for beginners).
✅ Wing (m²): Start with a bigger wing to facilitate learning and provide more lift at lower speeds. As you face stronger wind conditions, use smaller wings for better control and maneuverability. 🌬️
✅ Foil (Surface cm²): For beginners, a foil with a surface area of 2000-2500 cm² is ideal, as it offers more lift and stability at lower speeds. As you progress, look for foils with smaller surface areas to improve efficiency, speed, and directionality. 🚀
✅ Mast (Length cm): A shorter mast provides greater stability, especially for beginners: the board will be closer to the water, making it easier to balance and reducing risk of falls. A longer mast provides better maneuverability, lift, and speed. Start with a shorter mast and increase the length as you become more comfortable. 🌊
