MachinePoint Will Be at REPACK Poland 2026 🇵🇱
On October 28 and 29, Warsaw will host a conference focused on films and recycling, bringing together some of Europe's leading producers.

At the end of October, Poland will become a meeting point for Europe's plastics and recycling industry. More than 120 companies will gather in Warsaw to connect, build relationships and exchange ideas about the present and future of the sector.

This year's edition is set to be even bigger, with REPACK 2026 expanding in size and introducing an awards gala to recognise achievements within the industry. And, for the second year in a row, MachinePoint will be part of it, with our colleague Anna attending the event.

Europe's Circular Economy Faces New Challenges 📉
Europe's transition towards a circular plastics economy is facing a slowdown. According to Plastics Europe's report *The Circular Economy for Plastics – A European Analysis 2026*, annual growth in circular plastics production fell from 13.6% in the 2018–2022 period to just 1.2% between 2022 and 2024. Meanwhile, 19% of European plastics converters' demand for circular plastics was met through imports, highlighting the continent's reliance on international supply chains.

These figures do not mean that European companies are turning away from the circular economy. Instead, they point to the challenges the industry faces in remaining competitive while investing in more sustainable production models. Strengthening recycling infrastructure, encouraging investment and making better use of existing industrial resources will be essential to supporting Europe's circular transition.

In this context, continuing to invest in circular solutions is not just an environmental priority. It is also an opportunity to improve industrial efficiency, reduce resource dependency and help European companies remain competitive in a changing global market.

Indonesia’s packaging and processing market continues to grow, and ALLPacK Indonesia is one of the best places to understand where the industry is heading.

From October 20 to 23, 2026, MachinePoint will be visiting ALLPacK Indonesia 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta 🌍

The exhibition brings together companies from the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, packaging, processing, automation and handling sectors, creating a valuable space to discover new trends, discuss production challenges and identify business opportunities across Southeast Asia.
