Are all the things in the article positive about Bioplastics? No. But can could we all learn from them to make better solutions? Absolutely!

Es un honor haber ganado el Premio Emprendimiento Fundación Caja de Ingenieros y poder contar con el apoyo de una entidad tan importante al ecosistema emprendedor nacional. La financiación obtenida nos dará un impulso para llevar nuestras primeras alternativas al plástico a mercado en 2021 y así poder empezar a generar un impacto real en la industria del packaging!

A Happy New Year it already is, it's great to see governments moving forward against harmful packaging.

The U.S. is focusing on broadening national ban on expanded polystyrene products, bill "Polystyrene Food Service and Loose Fill Packaging Prohibition Amendment of 2019", is
expected to pass in July 31st 2020!

This will aid ease the burden of the amount of waste which is burned in the U.S., where currently, x6 more Plastic Waste is burned than that it is recycled (Green Peace, 2019).

It's also a reminder that more than one tactic is needed to beat the plastic pollution crisis we're facing, and the importance of new home compostable and marine degradable materials which disappear by themselves where recycling fails to collect it.

Some of you may know that we have been travelling quite a lot to China lately. Now we're back, we thought it would be a good moment to announce that with all the positive advances of these trips we'll soon be opening a new office in China!
