--------------------------------------------FORMULA 1------------------------------
People think that it should be synonymous with top technology and maximum benefits. But is this true? The answer is clear: No. The engines as we know are V6, 1.6 c.c with hybrid. This gives us a power of 950 PS for the most powerful Mercedes, and 850 PS for the smaller, which is Honda. Is it logical that a formula 1 has the same power as a supercar like the Mclaren P1, Porsche 918 or Ferrari La Ferrari? Is not more logical that the engines are a 2.0 cc engine. And V8 engine plus hybrid engine ?. If we want to save costs, is not it cheaper to get power in a 2.0 c.c than in a 1.6 c.c?
Enzo Ferrari said (I'm not a Ferrari fan), that he knew how to make a winning car, and was having the most powerful engine, not being the most aerodynamic or the least consuming car.
I think Formula 1 should be benefits, technology, safety ...
For 2017 the size of the Tires will gain in size, at last, this will give us a higher speed per lap (estimated 5 seconds per lap faster) in addition to a greater adhesion in the curve and a greater amount of water to evacuate In rain (that means there will be less safety cars every time some rain falls).
Who sees the normal size of the wheels? Do you know that they are 13 inches? Those of a normal car are 15. This season, one of the novelties is the introduction of a third type.
The FIA has tried to democratize F1, but I think what it has achieved is to establish dynasties. First it was the dynasty of the Red Bull, and the current dynasty is the one of Mercedes. This from my point of view affects the decrease of spectators in favor of Formula E, Moto GP, or the German DTM, as already announced Fernando Alonso.
I see it good that the engines are not a single use, or that there are fuel refills, or that safety comes first, but ... speed and technology should be the most important in the championship.
