The GUE Tech 1 course prepares ambitious divers to begin their path to technical diving safely, with confidence, and with a base of solid skills and knowledge. This course also paves the way to GUE rebreather courses, to advanced technical GUE training, and to GUE project and exploration diving.

Tech 1 will cover the following subjects among others:

-Extends your depth limit to 51m;
- General Decompression strategies and procedures;
- Use of Helium based breathing mixtures of standard gases (32% nitrox, 30/30 triox, or 21/35 trimix or 18/45 trimix);
- Safely use 50% Nitrox or oxygen for accelerated decompression;
- Use of doubles and one stage cylinder;

Learning to dive rebreather is like learning to dive from the beginning.
You'll have to work again on your trim and buoyancy, gas planning and most importantly how to take care of your new toy.

If you want to learn all this new stuff, you can do it on the TDI MOD 1 - Air Diluent CCR course. It’s the rebreather diving entry level certification designed for qualified and experienced Technical Divers.

This course will teach you to:

- Configure, prepare and check the rebreather;
- Conduct pre-dive safety checks;
- All the necessary skills to conduct CCR dives to a maximum depth of 40m;
- Use air as a diluent for decompression diving;
- Use of a single bailout cylinder.

The course leader is Sameh Sokar , TDI/IANTD JJ Advanced mixed gas Instructor.
