تم انشاء الشركة المصرية اللبنانية عام 1995 فى منطقة 6 اكتوبر الصناعية بالقاهرة وبدأت التصنيع عام 1997 على المستوى المحلى الخاص والعام وبمرور الاعوام تم التركيز على دمج جميع جوانب الصناعة بدءا من المحاجر للتصنيع وصولا إلى التعبئة والشحن وكان مما ساعد على تقوية مساعينا شركة نامكس الايطالية بأوروبا والتى كان لها يد فى انتشارنا فى اسواق أوروبا والفريقيا وآسيا
شهد عام 2010 احداث مهمة حيث تم الاندماج مع
ميجا ماربل وهى شركة انشأت عام 2007 تعمل فى المحاجر بالاضافة للبناء الحديث وكان لهذا الاندماج اثر كبير فى توسعة العمل بالسوق المحلى وساعدتنا على المساهمة بالعديد من المشروعات المرموقة مثل مطار الغردقة الدولى وحديقة الازهر وغيرها من المشروعات الكبرى

The Egyptian Lebanese Company for Marble and Granite - ELCO, was established in May 1995 at the 6th of October industrial zone in the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. Manufacturing began in September 1997 for mostly local projects, for the public and private sectors. Over the next few years, ELCO has focused on integrating all aspects of the industry starting from the quarrying to the fabrication through to the packing, distribution and shipping of the final product with the help of our Carrara, Italy based sister company Naamex, which has helped us solidify our footsteps in the European, African and Asian markets.
2010 saw an exciting time for ELCO, as we merged with Mega Marble, a quarrying and fabricating facility established in 2007 along with Modern Construction Company, MCC established in 1993. The merge had successfully deepened our reach in the local market and has helped us be a proud contributor to such prestigious projects like the remodeling of Hurghada International Airport, the APM (Automated People Mover) and Aerotel (now Le Méridien) at the Cairo International Airport and Al-Azhar Park to name a few. Italian made machinery, skilled labor with decades of experience and a pioneering management team make the backbone of our organization. Our pledge to excellent customer relations, our community payback programs along with our unprecedented commitment to the green initiative separates ELCO from most of its competitors in the region.
