"Container Service Engineer "
As we grow, we're looking for marine engineer with professional interpersonal skills to join our dynamic team in Egypt. We are hiring Marine Engineer:
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site repair activities for shipping containers.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Maersk and the technical repair team.
Ensure all repairs are conducted in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Enforce HSE policies and procedures during all repair operations.
Assess container damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
Coordinate with the warehouse to source and arrange necessary spare parts.
Monitor repair work ex*****on and provide guidance to technicians when needed.
Maintain detailed repair records, including:
Parts and materials used
Associated costs
Photo documentation before and after repairs
Provide daily job updates and reports to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with suppliers, repair vendors, and depot operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in container repair, logistics, or a related technical field
Knowledge of container structures, repair techniques, and industry standards
Strong understanding of HSE requirements and site safety practices
Proven coordination and team supervision skills
Proficient in documentation and reporting (MS Office, digital tools, etc.)
Ability to work outdoor and in physically demanding environments
