Three product specialists from Vikima Seed visited the factory in Slagelse today. They came to see how we produce and to learn more about the Norogard seed treaters.
Vikima Seed has been, and still is, a valued partner, with a large facility in southern Denmark where they work with a wide variety of flower and vegetable seeds.
Thank you for the visit; it was a pleasure seeing you in Slagelse and talking about machines, seed, and dosing needs.

Not every defect can be separated by size, shape, or weight.

Using advanced cameras and vision technology, the Westrup Vision by 3U optical sorting solutions can identify and remove discoloured seeds, foreign material, and other defects, even when unwanted material is similar in size and shape to the good product.

By combining Westrup’s expertise in seed processing with 3U Vision SRL optical sorting technology, we help processors take quality control to the next level.

Good service is about more than fixing a problem as it happens.
At Westrup, we believe it’s about being there throughout the lifetime of the equipment: from installation and commissioning to maintenance, support, and everything in between.

Our service team works closely with customers to keep their equipment running reliably and to help prevent issues before they become bigger problems.

Seed cleaning is all about making the right separation at the right stage.

Trying to remove every impurity with a single machine can reduce efficiency and compromise the final seed quality. A well-designed cleaning line, where each machine has a specific job, gives you greater control over the process and, ultimately, better seed quality.

Sometimes, the best way to improve your cleaning result isn’t to make one machine work harder - It’s to make the whole process work smarter.

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 engaged students from Slagelse Gymnasium to Westrup.

During their visit, they learned about our processes, what we do, and the career opportunities available at Westrup. It was great to meet such a curious and engaged group, who asked interesting questions and showed genuine interest in our company and industry.

The students will later write an assignment based on their visit, and we hope the experience has given them valuable insight and inspiration for their future studies and careers.

Thank you for visiting us – we look forward to following your work!
