EIVA a/s EIVA is an engineering company with over 40 years’ experience in solutions for subsea applications The world is seeing a steady increase in operations at sea.

We provide software, equipment, integrated system solutions, rental services, 24/7 support and software training to a wide range of segments, covering virtually any subsea task. This increase brings with it a need for solutions that will streamline the operations of organisations specialising in the opportunities offered by a ‘blue planet’, as well as ensure that these opportunities do not come at the expense of the environment. We know and understand the challenges our customers face, and we work closely together with them in choosing and implementing the solution that will offer the most value to their often mission-critical operations with all that implies. Our extensive customer base comprises organisations and companies from the international industry. This means that our staff are as familiar with the inside of aircraft cabins as they are with the seabed, due to their travels around the globe to assist our customers on-site.

We automate repetitive tasks. Operators stay focused on what matters most.

Autonomy doesn't have to mean handing over control.

For EIVA, integrating automation and autonomy into subsea workflows starts with supervised autonomy.

This is enabled by NaviSuite ROV Autonomy – EIVA’s dedicated software product that handles repeatable vehicle movements such as line following, maintaining stand-off distance and speed control, while operators remain fully in control and can intervene instantly.

The result?

More consistent inspections, reduced operator workload and a practical path to greater operational efficiency, all within the workflows you already use today.

Because successful autonomy is not about replacing expertise. It's about scaling the impact of experienced operators while keeping them firmly in control.

Next season starts long before the vessel leaves port.

Whether your ScanFish ROTV collects high-resolution bathymetric, geophysical or environmental data, reliable performance starts with a well-maintained system.

After a season of towing, wear on critical components isnt always visible. Seals, bearings, O-rings and flap motors can gradually deteriorate – increasing the risk of unexpected downtime when your next survey begins.

That's why we recommend servicing every ScanFish once a year, during quieter operational periods.

A factory service at EIVA includes:
✔ Mechanical, cable and topside condition check
✔ New O-rings and a full pressure test
✔ Flap motor service with replacement seals, bearings and shafts
✔ Motor and controller testing to specification
✔ Altimeter performance check and the latest firmware
✔ ScanFish Flight software update
✔ Full system function test before return

While your system is with us, ask about our ScanFish spares kits, so commonly replaced components are already onboard when you head offshore.

Ready before mobilisation. Reliable when it matters.

When survey and inspection operations are running around the clock, help should be within reach, no matter the time of day.

As a former hydrographic surveyor turned software support specialist Cristian Valentin Tepurica explains, offshore teams often need guidance at critical moments, whether it's resolving a technical challenge, navigating a workflow or getting the most out of their software setup.

Having worked both offshore and onshore, Cristian understands first-hand what's at stake when a project is underway. Lost vessel time, tightening schedules, weather constraints and project delays can quickly add pressure to an operation.

That's why our 24/7 software support gives customers access to experienced specialists whenever questions, challenges or unexpected situations arise.

Because subsea projects don't stop for nights, weekends or public holidays.

And the EIVA support team doesn't either.

Want to learn how to save time testing multiple sound velocity profiles (SVPs) to find the right correction for your multibeam dataset in NaviSuite?

Our new SVP Toolbox eLearning module shows you how to use the latest feature in NaviModel, EIVA's software for processing, modelling and analysing survey and inspection data.

Designed to help data processors identify the most suitable SVP for datasets affected by refraction errors, this feature provides a faster and more consistent approach to SVP selection.

In the course, you'll learn how to:
✅ Rank available SVPs in seconds using the Find Best SVP function
✅ Use data-driven scoring instead of relying on proximity or timing alone
✅ Preview correction results before applying changes
✅ Stay in control with recommendations that support, rather than replace, operator expertise

From trial-and-error SVP selection to more confident correction decisions.

Survey and inspection operations rely on software, sensors, navigation systems and sensor platforms working together seamlessly.

Rather than sourcing these components from multiple suppliers, many companies are looking for a single, trusted partner that can provide everything they need through one streamlined rental solution.

In fact, this is one of the biggest trends EIVA's Rental team is seeing.

As Julie Rydberg Elbækgaard, Manager of the Global Rental team, explains:

‘Customers value having a partner who understands the complete workflow – not just individual products in play.’

When software, platforms and sensors are selected to work together from the start, teams can spend less time troubleshooting and coordinating multiple suppliers, and more time focusing on achieving their survey and inspection objectives.

That's why EIVA Rental offers more than individual products. We combine multiple technologies and technical expertise to help customers build a solution that matches their operational needs.

Whether it's expanding survey capacity, accessing specialised sensors or simplifying mobilisation, the goal is the same: ensuring every part of the workflow works together from day one.

Because subsea success isn't determined by a single piece of equipment.

It's determined by how well the complete workflow performs.

From separate components → to seamless workflows.

Connected technologies. Integrated insight. Broader possibilities.

The acquisition of EIVA and the broader Covelya Group by Robotics creates new opportunities to bring complementary technologies and expertise together even more closely.

Though the collaboration itself is not new. One example is the integration of Kraken's sub-bottom imaging (SBI) technology with the ScanFish XL ROTV (remotely operated towed vehicle), bringing multiple sensing capabilities into a single survey workflow to help build a more complete picture of the subsea environment.

To support this integration, EIVA expanded the payload capacity of the ScanFish platform by 700%, enabling the ScanFish XL to accommodate larger and more complex sensing configurations while retaining the proven SBI setup.

For survey teams, this means greater flexibility to capture richer datasets through a single workflow, transforming standalone technologies into integrated offshore insight.

We’re back from DALO Industry Days (hosted by the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to discuss seabed survey and how EIVA sensor platforms and software can help turn subsea data into a better understanding of the underwater domain.

As defence organisations increasingly look to industry for technologies that can help bridge capability gaps below the surface, DALO Industry Days highlighted the important role commercial maritime technologies can play in supporting defence and maritime security objectives.

We were excited to share how EIVA's proven capabilities, now strengthened by the broader Kraken Robotics Group portfolio, support a wide range of applications across offshore energy, hydrography and archaeology among others, while also addressing the needs of defence organisations.

Allowing for precise positioning and navigation enabling high-quality underwater data acquisition and modelling, these capabilities provide the trusted data needed to support subsea survey and inspection operations.

From UXO detection and harbour inspection to seabed monitoring, trusted subsea data helps organisations build the situational awareness needed to make informed decisions in complex marine environments.
