At Vestergaard Company, we are pleased to support young talents and the people who help them grow.

From April 22–25, 2026, our welding apprentice, Kristoffer Matzen, participated in DM i Skills in Hjørring – the Danish National Skills Championships for vocational education students. A great achievement that reflects dedication, craftsmanship, and a willingness to learn and develop.

Behind every strong performance stands a team of passionate people making a real difference. A special thank you to apprenticeship coordinator Allan Schou and education coordinator Per Jensen for their dedication, support, and guidance throughout the journey. Also a big thanks to the welding department – Station 2-3 – for their support and commitment along the way.

We are happy to have such dedicated apprentices and colleagues as part of the Vestergaard Company team.

A big thank you to all those who joined the Vestergaard Company and Clariant Chic Suger Shack dinner event last Wednesday in Quebec City as part of the SAE G-12 committee meeting.

As always it was a real pleasure to bring together customers, partners and colleagues from the industry in a friendly atmosphere, conducive to exchanges and reunions. These moments are a perfect example of the quality of the network and collaborations that drive our industry forward.

The annual service tour is officially underway.

Our field technicians are heading out to more than 80 airports across 25 countries — spending the next 22 weeks on the road, ensuring equipment is fully operational and ready when the season starts again.

Two weeks ago, Johanna from the local Absalon Primary School, where she attends 7th grade, visited Vestergaard Company for a mini-internship.

Johanna explored several different areas of our company, including the electrical workshop and the welding department, where she had the chance to try out some of our machines and create her own model, as shown in the photo — of course with proper guidance and safety instructions throughout.

“It is fun to see how everything works, and I have really enjoyed my visit,” Johanna said. She also mentioned that getting a glimpse into different types of jobs gives her a better understanding when thinking about future education and career choices. Whether she will become a welder is still undecided, but we were very happy to give her an insight into some of our different trades.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming All Nippon Airways (ANA) and All Nippon Airways Motor Services (ANA MS) from Japan, together with our agent Daiichi, for the inspection of the latest deliveries of Elephant® MY and Elephant® BETA deicers. The new units will become part of ANA’s existing fleet of Vestergaard deicers.

The visit also included training sessions. At Vestergaard, we greatly value the long-standing partnership and continued trust shown by ANA and Daiichi.

Thank you for the visit, we look forward to continuing our strong collaboration.
