This week, Manuel Schaub and Bernhard Stelzle from EFM, together with Andreas Pfab from Lufthansa LEOS, visited Vestergaard Company for the inspection of their three new Elephant® e-BETA Hybrid de-icers.

Their Scandinavian tour also included a visit to Kalmar Motor, where they inspected their new electric TBL800.

Visits like these provide a good opportunity to check the equipment and go through the final details before delivery.

Thank you to Manuel, Bernhard and Andreas for the visit and for a couple of great days together.

Today offered the perfect setting for a photo during N*ICE and Fraport’s visit to Vestergaard Company in Gevninge.

The N*ICE and Fraport teams have been with us for the inspection of their three new Elephant® BETA-15 deicers. The Elephant® BETA-15 is the highest mobile deicer in the world and to make it even more impressive N*ICE and Fraport have ordered the big 12,000-liter tank capacity version.

With blue skies, impressive clouds and all three units lined up, the timing for a photo couldn’t have been better.

Thank you to the N*ICE and Fraport teams for the visit and a couple of great days in Gevninge!

There’s an old Danish saying that “The Bog Woman is brewing” — “Mosekonen brygger” - when the warmth of the sun makes mist rise over the marshes and meadows.

And that was the beautiful sight greeting us as we arrived for work at Vestergaard Company this morning: the morning sun catching our line-up of trucks, while the Bog Woman was busy brewing in the meadow behind them.

And something’s brewing all right!

The week after next, a record number of international deicing professionals will join us here in Gevninge for the 10th anniversary edition of our Deicing Best Practices Workshop - completely sold out!
Then, just a month from now, we’ll be opening the doors to our stand at GSE Expo Europe in Lisbon.

There’s plenty to look forward to, and most of all, we’re excited about all the great conversations ahead with friends and colleagues from across the industry.

See you in Gevninge — or Lisbon!

Airbus Defence and Space from Manching visited Vestergaard Company in Roskilde this week for the Pre-Delivery Inspection of their first Elephant® BETA.

The working height and precise application of de-icing fluid were key factors in their choice of the Elephant® BETA – particularly for the large aircraft maintained at the Manching site, including the A400M and E-3A AWACS.

During the visit, the Airbus team also tested the DTS and our new OPTIM-ICE solution, getting a closer look at some of the technology to further enhance deicing operations.

Thank you to the Airbus team for the visit and to everyone involved in getting the machine ready for delivery.

The summer sun is shining in Denmark ☀️🇩🇰, and graduation season is here. Across the country, students proudly wear the iconic white Danish graduation cap with its colored band - a symbol of hard work, dedication, and achievement. Among this year's graduates is our very own apprentice, Jakobine!

Jakobine has chosen the EUX pathway, combining vocational training with upper secondary education while completing her apprenticeship at Vestergaard Company.

We believe ambition should be supported, and Jakobine is a great example that you can successfully combine academic studies with hands-on craftsmanship.

Jakobine’s beautifully crafted stainless steel gramophone horn is just one example of the skills and creativity she's developed during her apprenticeship - amazing!
