Today marks a very special milestone for HOUNÖ: 20 years since we joined Middleby.
When HOUNÖ was acquired in 2006, we were just Middleby’s 7th acquisition. Today, Middleby brings together 73 highly respected, leading brands – each with its own expertise, heritage, and strengths.
Over those 20 years, a lot has changed. HOUNÖ has grown, our technology has evolved, and our reach has become increasingly global. But our passion for developing and manufacturing innovative combi ovens remains at the heart of who we are.
Today, we are proud to be the centre of excellence for combi ovens within Middleby – contributing our knowledge, experience, and innovation while benefiting from the expertise and collaboration of an incredible global family of brands.

Getting Invoq’onized at the Home of Invoq!

It was a pleasure welcoming the newest members of the Levens Middleby team, Elle Baaijens and Lisa Korber, to HOUNÖ in Denmark.

We spent a great day together making sure they are now fully Invoq’onized – and equipped with the latest knowledge, insights, and inspiration from the world of Invoq and combi ovens. 😉

From technology and features to applications and plenty of hands-on experience, there was lots to explore and even more to talk about.

And no visit to the Home of Invoq would be complete without some time in the kitchen. A big thank you to our InvoqChefs for a great culinary demonstration – and a wonderful lunch to match. 👨‍🍳

Thank you, Elle and Lisa, for making the long drive to Randers and, most of all, for bringing such great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day.

🌭 Some people celebrate with flowers and chocolate. At HOUNÖ, we have a thing for celebrating with hotdogs… 😉 Very Danish, we know.

Recently, InvoqChef Sébastien Monjoin fired up the Invoq oven and prepared a proper hotdog lunch for the entire HOUNÖ team.

Great food, plenty of toppings, good company. And most importantly, no one left hungry!
Sometimes, the best moments at work are the simple ones: taking a break from the everyday routine, gathering around the table, and enjoying something delicious together.

Thank you, Sébastien, for keeping the HOUNÖ team very well fed! 🌭👏

🏃‍♀️🚶 Team HOUNÖ on the move!
This year’s DHL Relay was another great opportunity to swap the workplace for an evening of exercise, teamwork and a little healthy competition.

With both running and walking teams, colleagues took to the course for a fun evening together – cheering each other on and enjoying the atmosphere along the way.
And of course, Team HOUNÖ doesn’t do an event without good food. 😉

Our Invoq miniCombi was the perfect companion to bring along to the field, where InvoqChefs Mikkel Laursen and Sébastien Monjoin prepared a delicious meal for everyone – ready to replenish those energy levels as our teams crossed the finish line. 👨‍🍳

Good exercise. Great food. Even better company.
A fantastic evening with Team HOUNÖ – and proof that Invoq feels right at home outside the professional kitchen too! 💪

A day of Invoq – and great conversations!

It was a pleasure welcoming our guests from Germany to the Home of Invoq in Randers for a day dedicated to diving deeper into the world of Invoq.

A big thank you to Schiffmann GmbH, Schwalenstöcker & Gantz GmbH, and Gastro-Konzept24 for making the journey to Denmark and for bringing your time, curiosity, and enthusiasm with you.

Throughout the day, we explored Invoq, shared knowledge and perspectives, exchanged ideas, and of course experienced the ovens in action.

For us, visits like these are about much more than products and technology. They are an opportunity to get to know each other, understand different markets and perspectives, and have the conversations that can spark new ideas.

Thank you for a great day together – we truly enjoyed having you at HOUNÖ and hope you returned to Germany with plenty of Invoq inspiration in your luggage. 😊

🎉 10 years of making things happen!

This week, we celebrated Tanja Middelhede’s 10-year anniversary at HOUNÖ – a decade filled with development, different roles, new challenges, and one constant throughout: a strong dedication to our customers.

Customer relationships are where Tanja truly shines. Whether she is coordinating an installation, planning an exhibition, or managing a project from A to Z, she has an impressive ability to keep track of every detail, make sure everyone knows their role, and ensure that nothing falls between the cracks.

And if a case is a little complicated? Even better. 😉 Tanja brings a positive, go-get-it attitude to everything she does and genuinely enjoys finding solutions that leave all parties happy.

After 10 years, we are incredibly proud to still have Tanja as part of the HOUNÖ team and very grateful for everything she brings to our customers, colleagues, and business every day.
