When Calderys in Höganäs, Sweden, needed to replace their trusted 12-tonne forklift from the late 1980s, Uniktruck was the natural choice of supplier.

In close collaboration with the end users at Calderys and Björn Fritzell from Uniktruck, a thorough needs analysis was carried out, leading to the selection of a Kalmar DCG100-12 as the ideal solution.

The new forklift combines modern technology with high operator comfort and is designed to meet Calderys’ strict safety requirements. Key features include a reversible driver’s position, Blue Spot lights at the front and rear for enhanced safety, and an advanced 360-degree camera system that gives the operator full visibility in every situation.

Calderys Nordic AB is a global leader in refractory materials and solutions, recognised for its strong commitment to sustainable production. The Höganäs facility is one of the first in the group to run on 100% renewable energy, generated from wind, solar and biogas 🌱

We have just returned from this year’s Kalmar conference in Seville, Spain ✈️

The conference provided valuable strategic insight into Kalmar’s plans for both products and services. it also offered great opportunities to network with management representatives from Kalmar as well as other European dealers.

A particular highlight was the inspiring presentation by Toni Nadal, who coached tennis legend Rafael Nadal for many years. With a focus on dedication, a winning mindset and the ability to get the most out of one’s potential, his insights sparked reflections that extend far beyond the world of sport.

Despite geopolitical uncertainty, conflicts in the Middle East and other external factors affecting both us and our customers, we remain positive about the future – and we continue to work purposefully every day to create value for our customers 🙌

A pair of used terminal tractors has recently been loaded and shipped to a customer in Chile. In this case, a container solution was both the fastest and most cost-effective way to reach the destination port.

We have recently delivered a Movella Translifter to NorSea Vestbase in Kristiansund. This is a custom Movella R4-13/17 translifter, built to meet demanding handling needs of oil & gas pipes:

- 90 tons capacity
- Telescopic outreach from 13 to 17 meters to handle longer pipes
- Reversing camera, blue spot and other equipment to make handling safer and easier

Most importantly: the customer is very satisfied - and so are we 🐘

Towards the end of 2025, Prefabmästarna saw an increased need to move finished products efficiently across their site. After reviewing the market, they decided to add a terminal tractor to their fleet - and UnikTruck was able to offer several suitable options.

Together, we identified the right solution, and the required modifications were carried out quickly and to a very high standard. Delivery took place as agreed in early January, and the result is a well-equipped MOLRM255 4x4 terminal tractor and a very satisfied customer.

Large Container-handling machines are often transported in sections and then assembled upon arrival at the custmomer´s site. This solution is usually chosen because the machines are both large and heavy, making it a challenging task to deliver them fully assembled.

But solving exactly this dilemma is what UnikTruck specialises in. We have had both our heavy-duty trucks and modular trailers tailor-made to maximise payload capacity and flexibility.

In this photo, we are delivering a Kalmar DRG450-65S5 reachstacker in one piece to a Danish customer. These transports most often take place at night with a police permit and an es**rt vehicle, so safety is always ensured ✔️
