SGT Drengen Has Been Delivered! 🚤

The Skjærgårdstjenesten (Archipelago Service) in Kristiansand has taken delivery of its new ProZero 11m Mission Master, marking the third ProZero vessel built for Skjærgårdstjenesten.

Featuring a spacious working deck with a bow ramp, Fassi crane, joystick control with autopilot, and a top speed of 40 knots, the vessel is ready for many years of operations in the Norwegian archipelago.

25 år med Jesper Buk - en særlig milepæl hos Tuco!

I denne uge har vi fejret noget, vi aldrig tidligere har prøvet hos Tuco Marine Group. Vores første 25-års medarbejderjubilæum!

Og det er helt rigtigt, at det netop er Jesper Buch, der er den første til at nå den milepæl.

Jesper var en af vores allerførste medarbejdere og har været med næsten fra begyndelsen. Fra dengang vi var en lille bådbyggervirksomhed i Faaborg, til i dag, hvor vi bygger avancerede kompositfartøjer til kunder over hele verden.

Gennem årene har Jesper med sit gode håndværk, sin erfaring og sin store indsats været med til at forme både vores både og vores virksomhed. Han er en af dem, der kender værftet og håndværket helt ind til benet.

25 år er lang tid, og vi er både stolte og taknemmelige over, at Jesper har været med på så stor en del af rejsen.

Stort tillykke med jubilæet, Jesper - og tak for indsatsen gennem alle årene!

Danish vessel technology enters East African waters

Tuco Marine ApS - ProZero Workboats is proud to announce the sale of ProZero 8M Riverine S vessels to the Kenya Navy, strengthening our growing presence across the African maritime sector. 🌍⚓

Designed for operations where conventional vessels struggle, the ProZero 8M Riverine S is built to operate in shallow, debris-filled and heavily vegetated waters, including rivers, mangroves and swampy coastal areas.

At the heart of the vessel is the Swamp Shark Drive, a unique surface-drive system designed to handle floating debris, shallow water and groundings while keeping the propulsion system protected. 🌊

The result is a highly manoeuvrable vessel capable of reaching areas that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to access, providing the Kenya Navy with a valuable operational advantage in demanding environments.

The project is also an important milestone in Tuco's long-term strategy of strengthening maritime security and expanding Danish maritime technology across Africa. 🤝

🌊 Shaping the future of ocean research

Our CEO, Jonas Pedersen, has spent the past few days at the International Research Ship Operators (IRSO) meeting in Cardiff, joining research vessel operators, scientists, designers and industry professionals from around the world. 🌍

This year's meeting also marked 40 years of IRSO 🎉 – four decades of international cooperation and knowledge sharing within the research vessel community.

The discussions covered many of the challenges shaping future ocean research: new research vessels, polar operations, scientific technology, autonomy, decarbonisation and new ways of combining different maritime platforms. 🔬🧊⚓

Jonas contributed to the programme with “Research Vessels, Workboats and Daughter Crafts”, presenting Tuco Marine Group ApS's perspective on how smaller specialised platforms can complement larger research vessels. 🚤

One important takeaway: the research vessel of the future does not necessarily have to do everything itself. 🌊

Workboats, daughter craft and USVs can extend operational reach, provide specialised capabilities and create new possibilities for conducting science at sea - while allowing the main research vessel to focus its valuable ship time where it matters most. ⚙️🌊

This is highly relevant to our work with ProZero, where we develop flexible, purpose-built platforms for demanding professional operations. 🚀

Developed for demanding defence and maritime security operations, the Enforcer is an advanced unmanned composite platform designed for autonomous force protection, interception and area-denial missions.

Equipped with the Escribano F23A Weapon Station and a tactical camouflaged exterior, the platform combines high-speed manoeuvrability, stability and remote operation in a purpose-built 8 m USV.

Designed for persistent presence and rapid response - with a modular configuration ready for future multi-domain capabilities.

🌊 REFEST - Retrofitting for Greener Fisheries

How can we make existing fishing vessels more energy-efficient without replacing the entire fleet?

That’s one of the questions at the heart of REFEST, an EU-funded Horizon Europe project focused on developing practical retrofit technologies to reduce fuel consumption and emissions from existing fishing vessels.

As an industrial partner in the project, Tuco Marine ApS - ProZero Workboats contributes expertise in innovative vessel design, lightweight structures and sustainable marine solutions.

Together with 14 partners from 10 European countries, REFEST is exploring solutions including battery integration, smart sensor systems and other energy-efficient technologies - with the potential to significantly reduce emissions while keeping solutions practical and scalable for fishing communities.

By improving the vessels already in operation, rather than replacing them, REFEST is working towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient future for European fisheries. ⚓🌱

Den 16.–17. september er Tuco Marine Group til stede på Beredskabskonferencen 2026 i Odense - Nordens største beredskabsmesse arrangeret af Danske Beredskaber. Med 1.343 deltagere og udstillere sidste år er konferencen et centralt samlingspunkt for hele beredskabssektoren.

Vi ser frem til at vise, hvordan moderne maritime platforme kan styrke både det operative beredskab, forebyggelsesindsatsen og den bredere samfundssikkerhed. 🚤📡

- Konferencen byder på tre stærke spor:

- Operativ beredskab – bl.a. erfaringer fra forsyningssvigtet i Berlin

- Forebyggelse – med beretningen fra det norske brandvæsen om storbranden i Drammen
