Black Tornado is a World Class Music, Mix and Recording Studio. We specialize in the recording and mixing of rock bands and orchestras up to 30 people, and we have a live room big enough to accommodate a whole band recording at once. We supply a variety of recording formats from ProTools HD3 Accel with 48 outputs to the old Studer A820 2 track 1/2" and 24 track 2" analog machines. The studio is ba

Our Story

Established in 1999 on the old industrial B&W shipping grounds of Refshaleøen, Copenhagen, Black Tornado Studios has since its foundation in 1999 offered professional recording, mixing and mastering services for both analog and digital systems. With a big live room capable of accommodating up to 30 musicians, a tight sounding overdubbing room and a kitchen/common area, the studio is suitable for any kind of artistic or technical needs. Based around an SSL 4000E/G mixing board, with two additional Neve sidecar consoles, an extensive collection of Neumann, Coles, Royer, B&K and Sennheiser microphones, and high-end outboard gear from the likes of Fairchild, Neve, Urei, Roland, EMT, Manley and Eventide, Black Tornado Studios is capable of handling large recording or mixing sessions with top of the line analog equipment. A variety of recording formats can be supplied on anything from a ProTools HD3 Accel with 48outputs to 24/16 track 2” or 2 track 1/2” Studer tape machines.
