“I first met Ramboll at the DSE career fair at DTU. Now, in just 1 week, I’m excited to be back at DSE — this time to share my own experience as a Student Assistant" 🎓

While studying engineering at DTU Lyngby, Nicklas works in Ramboll’s Energy division, where he applies his academic knowledge to real-life projects and gains hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

"As a student, you might worry about what’s expected of you in a student assistant role. I was surprised by how much responsibility I got early on - and how much trust you’re given by both colleagues and managers."

One thing that’s stood out to him is the open, inclusive culture: “It’s amazing how many skilled people are around you — and how willing they are to help. From day one, I felt like a real part of the team.”

Improving soft skills to accelerate early careers 🏋

As part of Ramboll in Denmark’s Early Career Initiative, nearly 40 early-career employees have participated in a session to learn more about the importance of developing soft skills in the workplace and how it can support their career advancement.

Through structured development options, the Early Career Initiative aims to:

📈 Make personal and professional growth more visible to both employees and managers

🌟 Accelerate skill development to achieve higher performance
