Party Chief / Senior Online Surveyor – Abu Dhabi

Explorer Marine is currently looking for experienced Party Chiefs and Senior Online Surveyors for upcoming offshore survey project opportunities.

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

🚨 Candidates must currently be based in Abu Dhabi or the surrounding area and be available for an informal face-to-face interview within the next few days.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a senior offshore survey role.
- Strong offshore hydrographic, positioning or online survey background.
- Good working knowledge of Qinsy or comparable survey software.
- Experience with MBES operations.
- Valid offshore certifications.

Experience with NORBIT iWBMS, Sector Scan Sonar, survey data processing and reporting will be considered an advantage.

Experience in 3D vessel, sensor and equipment offset measurements, total station observations, benchmarks and survey control points will also be highly valued.

Candidates must hold a degree or recognised professional qualification in at least one of the following disciplines: Geomatics Engineering, Photogrammetric Engineering, Civil Engineering – Surveying, Engineering Management, Land Surveying Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Marine Surveying Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Real Estate Surveying, Infrastructure Surveying, Surveying or Survey Drafting.
