This is precisely what is evident in the production area of the Kleemann main factory in Göppingen, Germany. An innovative rail system has been installed on several production lines.

As a result, the “machines under construction” in cell production no longer need to be moved between individual assembly stations in a cumbersome and time-consuming manner using an overhead crane. Instead, they can simply be pushed from one station to the next using transport carts.
➡️This significantly increases safety in production operations and improves workflows. Every optimization is a step toward even safer, more efficient, and more future-proof production.

Hamm Brake Assist: A roller equipped with this feature brakes automatically as soon as a collision is imminent.

On asphalt construction sites, heavy machinery operates in confined spaces. At the same time, workers are on site taking measurements or conducting tests. If a person unexpectedly steps into the roller’s path, the situation can become critical.

The new assistance system from Hamm monitors the area around the roller using LiDAR sensors. If it detects the risk of a collision, it slows the machine down, bringing it to a complete stop if necessary.

The benefits:
✅ Object detection and automatic braking work together. This means Brake Assist goes beyond traditional warning systems.
✅ Machine operators benefit from an additional layer of safety.

Brake Assist will initially be introduced on the HX series tandem rollers – more models to follow.

Customer Testimonial: Since their first Benninghoven asphalt mixing plant went into operation, Bitux has not recorded a single day of downtime. Their second plant is also from Benninghoven – this time it’s a TBA 3000 Plus.

Customer success story: Brazilian agro-industrial complex Usina Alta Mogiana relies on a Vögele paver and Hamm roller.

To reduce logistics costs on his farm, the sugar cane producer decided to pave his approximately 60 km internal road network. But instead of hiring a construction company, he promptly invested in his own Vögele paver and Hamm roller and had his employees trained in asphalt paving.
