The RD-400 consists of main 4M large clamshell dome unit and a wide range of riser walls and mounting adapter rings, to create the optimal configuration for your observatory. All risers can also be used to make combinations. A special labyrinth-brush system makes this an absolutely dust-, sand-, water- and snow-tight clamshell observatory dome, that is the optimal shelter for your expensive instrumentation.

Another batch of five RC-33 hybrid clamshell observatories for India have their first-time build-up and testing, before they are shipped to Lahore, India.
The RC-33 observatory is the affordable alternative for expensive glass fiber domes. A rugged steel frame, 10MM steel shutter guide rails, aluminium-sandwich covering for all walls and shutters, makes this the observatory of choice. A dual belt drive system with re-directors guarantee reliable operation. We supply either SEMI- or FULL automatic, ASCOM compliant shutter control systems.

With its twin observing sections, the RC-33AS offers unparalleled double floor space with ample room, for tables, shelfs and instrument racks. This observatory easily fields two telescopes up to 20inch in aperture.
Four inverter driven motors, smoothly(and silently) move the shutters in any position with a heavy belt-drive system with re-directors, also independently from each other. The four shutters run on heavy 15MM circular steel rails. The dual observatory control system rounds-off the package with ethernet interface, software.
