The zipper goes straight onto the duvet cover. Fully automatic, no handling in between. 🧵

We are building a fully automatic zipper line for duvet and pillow covers.

What happens between fabric roll and stack, with nobody stepping in:

▪️ pull the fabric off the A-frame
▪️ cut to length and hem the cross seam
▪️ sew on both halves of the concealed zipper
▪️ close the zipper, insert the slider
▪️ secure start and end by ultrasonic welding
▪️ sew the side seams, stack the finished cover
📐 Duvet covers from 100 x 135 to 155 x 220 cm, pillow covers of 80 x 80 cm. All on the same line, woven fabric off the A-frame.

📍 It is on the assembly floor in Saal an der Saale right now. 🎥 More impressions and videos will follow over the next while.
