This tool makes clutch assembly much easier.
Not only does it centre the friction discs, it also allows for safe and easy installation of the starter ring gear.
The friction discs are neatly aligned, no more fiddling around when mounting the gearbox to the engine!
Unlike others, this tool can easily be removed by pulling on the bolt.

[DE]Kupplungs-Zentrierwerkzeug

Das Werkzeug erleichtert die Kupplungsmontage wesentlich.
Es zentriert nicht nur die Reibscheiben, es erlaubt auch den sicheren und einachen Einbau des Anlasserzahnkranzes.
Die Reibscheiben werden sauber ausgerichtet, keine Fummelei mehr bei der die Montage des Getriebes an den Motor!
Dieses Werkzeug ist präziser als unser bisheriges Originalwerkzeug. D.h. die Zentrierung der Reibscheiben zum Kupplungsrad ist genauer. Das ist insbesondere dann von Vorteil, wenn das Kupplungsrad ebenfalls mit wenig Spiel gefertigt wurde.
Anders als bei den üblichen Werkzeugen, kann dieses an der Schraube gezogen und wieder entfernt werden.

Once again, we were forced to produce an important part that was no longer available ourselves. Initially, we used Italian reproductions. A few years ago, that was fine, but then the quality declined from batch to batch. Sometimes they were ‘wobbly’, sometimes the surface hardness was insufficient, which resulted in rapid wear. This culminated in a Far East production where even the shafts were not dimensionally accurate enough to keep the oil in the gearbox. No gearbox on our test bench was leak-proof with this scrap...
Hence, our in-house production. Our hubs are made of steel with a strength of 1100 N/mm², after which the surface is treated to minimise wear. The teeth are not stamped, but are pushed tooth by tooth, similar to gearbox gears. This is more complex to manufacture, but the result is stable and precise. The price is higher than that of ‘standard’ replicas, which is due to the quality and the comparatively low production numbers.
This Clutch hub will now also be part of our clutch kit.
Thanks to our CNC production made in Germany, we can guarantee 100% compatibility with the other original parts.

Wieder einmal sahen wir uns gezwungen, ein wichtiges, nicht mehr lieferbares Teil in Eigenregie zu produzieren. Zunächst hatten wir italienische Nachproduktionen verwendet. Vor einigen Jahren war das auch in Ordnung, aber dann sank die Qualität von Charge zu Charge. Mal "eierten" sie, mal war die Oberflächenhärte nicht ausreichend was sich in raschem Verschleiß bemerkbar machte. Bis hin zu einer Fernostproduktion, bei der nicht einmal die Schäfte maßhaltig genug waren um das Öl im Getriebe zu halten. Kein Getriebe auf unserem Prüfstand wurde dicht mit diesen Schrott... Daher die Motivation zur Eigenproduktion das muss dicht und standfest sein.
Unsere Mitnehmer werden aus einem Stahl mit einer Festigkeit von 1100 N/mm² gefertigt, anschließend wird die Oberflächen nitriert um Verschleiß zu minimieren. Die Verzahnungen sind nicht etwa gestanzt, sondern werden Zahn für Zahn gestoßen, ähnlich dem Fertigungsverfahren für Getriebezahnräder. Das ist zwar ein aufwändiger in der Herstellung, aber das Ergebnis ist standfest und präzise. Der Preis liegt über dem der "üblichen" Nachbauten, was der Qualität und den vergleichsweise geringen Stückzahlen geschuldet ist.
Ab sofort ist dieses Kupplungsrad auch Teil unseres Kupplungskits.
Durch unsere CNC Produktion made in Germany können wir eine 100% Kompatibilität zu den anderen Originalteilen garantieren.
Wie immer bei HMB mit engeren Toleranzen als in Italien üblich, daher sitzt das Kupplungsrad strammer auf der Welle und in den Reibscheiben. Weniger Spiel = weniger Verschleiß und Geklapper.

A completely new development, with interference at the front in 45 mm Stainless steel.
Perhaps a little ‘over the top’, but we wanted to offer a perfect manifold system that leaves nothing to be desired.
Performance and torque were the main focus, but durability, weight, fit, etc. were also important.

The Details:

The interference is plugged, not welded, to prevent stress cracks. The connection is ‘double-sleeved’ so that no exhaust gases can escape from the connection. Due to the taper at the end of the manifold, this manifold set is compatible with all interference pipes from 850-T3 or the Lafranconi LM-1/2 exhaust pipes.
Both sides are equipped with a plugged M 18x1.5 thread for mounting one or two lambda sensors.
The bending angle of this system also allows installation on California models with the long side stand. With this design, there is also significantly more clearance to the generator avoiding heat problems.
The flanges supplied are CNC milled from solid (7075) aluminium and are therefore very sturdy, unlike some accessories. On the cylinder head side, the manifold is not only flanged, but also has a solid ring welded on for maximum durability, tightness and stability in the cylinder head.
The supplied flanges, together with the stainless steel clamping pieces, securely hold the manifold in the head.There are four types of flanges to choose from, all sturdy, only a matter of taste.

We offer this set in 3 finish versions.

1. Stainless Steel natural, etched. Suitable when appearance is not the primary focus, or when polishing or painting is required.
Production marks may still be visible.

2. Stainless Steel etched and matt glass bead blasted.

3. Stainless Steel etched and brushed. The finest finish of all.

All versions are etched inside and out to prevent corrosion. Not just treated on the outside to make them look decent. They are etched in a special bath to also reach the inside of the tubes. Stainless steel is also prone to corrosion if heated up like on the welded parts and also in normal operation. The etching process also reduces discolouration when exposed to heat.

The set consists of:

2 Downpipe gaskets
4 Cap nuts
4 Schnorr washers
2 Lambda plugs



HMB-TIP
The best choice! Rustproof, complete with flanges, precisely fitting with an inner diameter of 42.6 mm for the main pipes and the interference pipe. This ensures a noticeable increase in performance and torque in all speed ranges.
The reason: the back pressure in the exhaust system is reduced. This is due to the optimized bending angle and the large inner diameter of the pipes. In addition, each exhaust stroke can use both tailpipes, as part of the exhaust gases can flow via the interference, thus also involving the opposite tailpipe.
In short: the engine breathes easier.
The tone of the exhaust system becomes slightly duller, less ‘rattly’, which is particularly beneficial for the open Lafranconis.
