Die FCI WM in Tychy 🇵🇱 – ein Stadion, ein Erlebnis und ein echtes Geschenk für jeden Hundeführer.

Genau so hat es der Ausrichter beschrieben – und nach den bisherigen Tagen können wir das nur unterschreiben. Die Atmosphäre im Stadion war von Anfang an etwas Besonderes. Die Stimmung war schon bei der Arbeit mit dem „blinden Hund“ Vitto Ostraryka von Bogdan Kurpas Dogit großartig – spätestens als er gleich zweimal den Arm mitgenommen hat, war klar: Hier wird es nicht langweilig. 🔥

Aber die Veranstaltung ist eben nicht nur das, was im Stadion passiert. Auch der gemeinsame Marsch durch die Stadt war ein wunderschöner Moment und einmal mehr ein Beweis dafür, dass unsere Hunde trotz ihres Sports ganz selbstverständlich in unseren Alltag integriert werden können – und dabei Familienmitglieder bleiben.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Bogdan Kurpas Dogit und das gesamte Veranstaltungsteam für eine WM, die weit mehr als nur ein Wettkampf ist.

Und jetzt heißt es: Die nächsten Tage genießen, weiter die Daumen drücken – denn die FCI WM in Polen ist noch lange nicht vorbei. 🇵🇱🔥

The FCI World Championship in Tychy, Poland 🇵🇱 – a stadium, an experience, and a true gift to every handler.

That’s exactly how the organizers described it – and after the days we’ve had so far, we can only agree. The atmosphere in the stadium was something special from the very beginning. The energy was already incredible during the work with the “blind dog” Vitto Ostraryka, handled by Bogdan Kurpas Dogit – and when he took the arm not once, but twice, it was clear: things were about to get interesting. 🔥

But the event is about so much more than what happens inside the stadium. The group walk through the city was another beautiful moment and yet another reminder that, despite their work in dog sports, our dogs can be a natural part of everyday life – and, above all, remain part of the family.

A huge thank you to Bogdan Kurpas Dogit, and the entire event team for a World Championship that is about so much more than just competition.

And now it’s time to enjoy the next few days and keep our fingers crosse

Freund und Helfer – mal anders. 😎

Mittendrin statt nur dabei – das Motto eines Malinois.
Manchmal nimmt er die Sache eben selbst in die Hand. Ähm … wir meinen natürlich: Pfoten. 🤭

Man muss schon schmunzeln: Manche Hunde sind einfach für alles zu gebrauchen. Ein echter Allrounder auf vier Pfoten.

Nein 😄 „Friend and helper“ klingt im Amerikanischen ziemlich unnatürlich. Das ist eine sehr deutsche Redewendung („Freund und Helfer“), die man nicht 1:1 übertragen sollte.

Für den gleichen humorvollen Effekt würde ich im amerikanischen Englisch eher „Man’s best friend – but make it different.“ nehmen. Das spielt schön auf „man’s best friend“ an und funktioniert als Caption.

Sinngemäß würde ich die komplette Caption so schreiben:

Von den ersten Schritten mit Futtertreiben bis zur FCI-Weltmeisterschaft – was für eine Reise!

Jeder, der IGP lebt und liebt, weiß: Am Ende sind es Tausende kleine Details, die mit Geduld, Gefühl und unzähligen Trainingsstunden zusammengefügt werden. Und selbst wenn irgendwann der „fertige“ Hund vor uns steht, sind wir als Team noch lange nicht am Ziel.

Es gibt immer etwas Neues zu lernen, weiterzuentwickeln und gemeinsam zu meistern.

Und genau das macht diesen Weg so besonders: zusammen wachsen – von den allerersten Schritten bis auf die ganz große Bühne.

Heeling is so much more than simply walking at your side.

It is an essential part of many dog sports – especially IGP and obedience. And even in protection work, reliable off-leash heeling plays an important role.
The dog should not only understand the correct position but also be able to maintain it confidently and consistently for longer periods.
Most importantly, the dog should feel good while doing it: motivated, attentive, open and full of joy.
Because great heeling is not only technically correct – it is expressive, harmonious and simply beautiful to watch.

Exercises like this don’t just show what is physically possible, but also how well a dog and their handler can work as a team. When a dog responds to their handler’s movements and simply goes along with them, that kind of teamwork is pretty impressive.
