h/p/cosmos strengthens management team of h/p/cosmos China with appointment of Peng Liu

As a leading international manufacturer of medical and sports technology solutions, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Peng Liu to the management team of our Chinese subsidiary, h/p/cosmos sport & medical technology Tianjin Co. Ltd, effective June 1, 2026.

Peng holds degrees in Sports Science from Beijing Sport University as well as in Rehabilitation and Prevention from German Sport University Cologne and looks back on nearly 25 years of extensive experience in international sales and business development. Throughout his distinguished career, he has successfully driven market expansion, built strong international partnerships and contributed to the growth of leading organizations in the healthcare and medical technology sectors.

In his new role, Peng Liu will support the management of h/p/cosmos China, focusing on strengthening the company’s presence in the Chinese market and further developing strategic customer relationships. His deep understanding of both the local market and international business practices makes him a valuable addition to the existing leadership team.

What started as a vision on paper is now steadily becoming reality. On a 26,000 m² site in Traunstein, our future headquarters is taking shape and marks an exciting new chapter for h/p/cosmos.
Over the past weeks, major milestones have been reached: the foundation slab has been completed, and the first structures of our 4,000 m² production hall are now clearly visible. With construction progressing at an impressive pace, the energy on site is unmistakable!

To celebrate this moment, we came together for a topping-out event inside the future production facility. Surrounded by concrete, steel, and big ambitions, company founder Franz Harrer and Managing Director Richard Schmidt welcomed our team and project partners.

Listening to Felix Limmer from Goldbeck Süd and our Project Manager Michael Zeiser, it became clear how much coordination, expertise, and passion go into a project of this scale and how far we’ve already come.

In small groups, our team explored the construction site, walking through spaces that will soon be filled with innovation, technology and teamwork. What is still a construction site today will soon become the heart of our production.

And of course, no celebration is complete without sharing a moment together: with burgers, fries, and soft ice cream, we raised a glass to the progress made and to everything that still lies ahead.
We’re proud of this milestone and excited to see the first phase completed soon.

🚧 Major Milestone Achieved at the h/p/cosmos DALA Campus 🚧

Did you know that it takes the equivalent of 97 concrete mixer trucks to transport 700 m³ or 1,700 tons of concrete? That’s exactly the amount poured in recent days to complete the base plate of Hall 1 at our h/p/cosmos DALA Campus!

This marks a significant milestone - but the momentum doesn’t stop there! In parallel, construction activities across the site are progressing rapidly. Excavations, electrical systems, ventilation, sanitary, and drywall installation are all advancing at an impressive pace.

With every milestone, we are moving closer to our relocation to the new site- building the foundation not just for a new facility, but for the future of innovation in medical technology. Stay tuned as we continue this exciting journey!

Gestern durften wir 37 SchülerInnen von 2 lokalen Schulen bei uns begrüßen. Die Chiemgau GmbH organisierte die Roadshow „Du willst Chef sein? Dann wird es. Im Chiemgau“ und besuchte hierbei regional gegründete Unternehmen.
Unternehmensgründer Franz Harrer (das „h“ aus h/p/cosmos) begrüßte die SchülerInnen am aktuellen Standort in Nussdorf und gab einen Einblick in seinen Werdegang, die Historie des Unternehmens und die aktuellen Perspektiven incl. dem Neubau des h/p/cosmos DALA Campus in Traunstein/Haslach.
Wir bedanken uns für das große Interesse und die regen Diskussionen mit den SchülerInnen und die reibungslose Organisation durch die Chiemgau GmbH!

Yesterday, we welcomed 37 pupils from two local schools to our premises. Chiemgau GmbH organised the roadshow ‘Want to be a boss? Then make it happen. In Chiemgau’ and visited locally established businesses as part of the event.
Company founder Franz Harrer (the “h” in h/p/cosmos) welcomed the pupils to the current site in Nussdorf and gave an insight into his career, the history of the company and current prospects, including the construction of the new h/p/cosmos DALA Campus in Traunstein/Haslach.
We would like to thank everyone for their keen interest and the lively discussions with the students, as well as the smooth organisation by Chiemgau GmbH!

The record run of Sabastian Sawe at the TCS London Marathon in historic 1:59:30 hours has shattered the running scene. adidas just released a short movie of Sabastian’s journey “Chasing Sub2” – and put biomechanics spearhead gaitway 3d in the spotlight!

When every fraction of a second matters, accurate speed and time measurement are not just features - they are essential foundations for peak performance! Our systems are engineered to meet the highest standards of accuracy, delivering reliable and reproducible training conditions as well as digital interfaces to industry leading technology. We are delighted to see our biomechanics spearhead system gaitway 3d, combining 3d force and torque measurement as well as pressure distribution measurement, at the adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach taking an active role in the development of the latest technologies!

With a top speed of 45 km/h and a max. elevation of 20%, the gaitway 3d is the perfect tool in the shoe industry, performance and biomechanics labs!
