BAUER KOMPRESSOREN, a company of the BAUER GROUP, was founded in Munich in 1946 and is one of the world market leaders in the high and medium pressure range up to 500 bar and 500 kW with an export share of 90 %. The company has become known worldwide due to its compressors filling breathing air cylinders for firefighters and divers. Among others, product areas involve compressor systems including

(medical) air and (noble) gas treatment and measurement technology for all industrial applications, natural gas and biogas filling stations, and gas injection molding (GIT). In addition, the Bauer Compressors Group, with its subsidiary Rotorcomp, is one of the largest manufacturers of low-pressure compressors. All screw and compressor blocks are manufactured at the German subsidiary Uniccomp GmbH in Geretsried near Munich. The company's headquarters are in Munich. The company and other subsidiaries were merged under the umbrella company BAUER COMP Holding GmbH in 2004. BAUER GROUP compressors adhere to TÜV/GS quality norms and product safety standards as well as the corresponding national quality norms in their partner countries.

BAUER Group Ski Day in Kaltenbach, Tirol
Der Tag begann früh: Schon um 6:00 Uhr ließ es sich Herr Bauer nicht nehmen, die Skifahrer persönlich zu verabschieden. Dann ging es ins Skigebiet Kaltenbach im Tiroler Zillertal – und die Bedingungen hätten kaum besser sein können: strahlend blauer Himmel, perfekter Schnee und traumhafte Pisten.
Zwischen den Abfahrten wurde natürlich auch ausgiebig Sonne auf den herrlichen Berghütten getankt – bei dieser Aussicht und diesem Wetter einfach ein Genuss. ☀️
Am Abend folgte der gemütliche Teil: gemeinsames Essen und Après-Ski in der Postalm, zusammen mit den Kollegen von BAUER Österreich. Dort herrschte schnell Riesenstimmung mit heisser Musik, viel Gelächter und natürlich auch ordentlich Abtanzen auf der Tanzfläche.
Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Tag mit viel Teamspirit, perfektem Winterwetter und jeder Menge guter Laune im Schnee!

As we look back fondly on boot Düsseldorf 2026, one moment that stands out is the handover of a JUNIOR II diving compressor to the Lahntaucher e.V. association.

The compressor was presented as recognition of the association’s long-standing commitment to environmental protection. It was handed over by Maike Grützedieck, who received the JUNIOR II last year as a special prize in the “CLIMATE” category at the Dive Award on behalf of the marine conservation organization Better Oceans.

Based near Marburg in central Germany, the Lahntaucher team of ten volunteer divers works in extremely challenging conditions to remove hazardous waste from the Lahn River. Their recovery operations regularly bring shocking finds to the surface, including bicycles, washing machines, car doors, and even motorcycles. Once recovered, all materials must still be sorted and transported on land.

It was a privilege to see their dedication recognized at the trade fair. Initiatives like this show how much impact committed local action can have on our waterways.

We bid a fond farewell to boot Düsseldorf 2026.
The boot Divecenter stage was a major draw in the diving hall at the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf. Throughout the event, visitors spent the day attending engaging talks focused on underwater environments from around the world.

Thanks to its reliability, compact design, and low weight, the JUNIOR II mobile diving compressor was used across multiple projects and expeditions and served as the breathing air supply for four presentations.

Dr. Florian Huber shared compelling images from his expedition to Greenland’s Ikkafjord. Underwater photographer Gerald Nowak took the audience to the crystal-clear lakes of northern Italy. Environmentalist Sabine Kerkau spoke about the challenges of recovering ghost nets in the Baltic Sea. During a Mediterranean ship voyage organized by the Segeltaucher e.V. association, the compressor also supplied breathing air for underwater archaeological dives.

For many visitors to the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf, Tuesday and Thursday evenings are firmly reserved for the diving hall. From 5 p.m. onwards, fresh Tegernseer beer flows from the two taps of the now legendary BIER-VERTICUS. It’s where busy trade fair days wind down, conversations flow easily with colleagues from neighboring booths, and the atmosphere stays just as enjoyable as it is relaxed.

boot Düsseldorf is in full swing, and the world’s largest water sports trade fair continues to welcome visitors from around the globe. In diving hall 12 at booth A68, BAUER is celebrating a major milestone: 80 years of passion, innovation, and reliability in breathing air technology.

Under the theme “Excellence in Safe Breathing Air & Nitrox,” BAUER is presenting a wide range of new products, upgrades, and digital services throughout the show, with a clear focus on NITROX and the next steps in breathing air technology.

Key highlights include:
The new B-MEMBRANE 11, a particularly compact and modular Nitrox membrane system
B-AEROGUARD, now able to regulate airflow based on CO₂ content when combined with
B-DETECTION PLUS s and i, enabling full use of filter capacity
B-BLENDING, now available with the B-CONTROL MICRO control unit in an especially attractive price configuration
A major upgrade to the MARINER 320-E-OX, now equipped with B-CONTROL MICRO as standard.

Das letzte Quartal ist traditionell die Zeit, in der die Jubilarsfeiern von BAUER KOMPRESSOREN und UNICCOMP stattfinden. An diesen Abenden ist so geballt wie sonst selten im Jahr langjähriges Wissen und Kompetenz an einem Ort vereint. In diesem Jahr war das Teilnehmerfeld besonders groß und die Spanne reichte von 10 Jahren bis zu sagenhaften 45 Jahren Betriebsangehörigkeit.
Die Jubilare genossen gemeinsam mit Ihren Partnern das hervorragendes Menu in festlichem Rahmen, die persönliche Würdigung ihrer Leistung durch die Personal- und Geschäftsleitung. Urkunden und Geschenke für langjährige Mitarbeiter wurden überreicht. Im Anschluss fanden bis weit in den Abend rege Gesprächen in wechselnden Runden statt. Man amüsierte sich gemeinsam über zahllose nette Geschichten und Anekdoten aus den vergangenen Jahrzehnten, um dann nach einem gelungenen Abend rundum zufrieden den Heimweg anzutreten.

Gesund zu bleiben muss nicht kompliziert sein. Unser jährlicher Gesundheitstag, organisiert von Gesundheitsmanager Peter Ott und dem HR-Team, zeigte erneut, wie kleine Schritte einen großen Unterschied machen können.
Das diesjährige Programm bot eine Powersnack-Ecke, eine VR-Reise durch den menschlichen Körper mit der AOK und praktische Übungen mit Sporttrainer Johannes Wessel. Ein besonderes Highlight war der „Ikaros“-Flugsimulator, bei dem man allein durch Gewichtsverlagerung einen virtuellen Parcours steuern musste – eine echte Herausforderung.
Außerdem konnten die Teilnehmenden ihren Impfstatus aktualisieren und wichtige Gesundheitswerte bei unserem Betriebsarzt Dr. Beier überprüfen lassen. Am Standort Geretsried standen zusätzlich ein Fahrrad-Geschicklichkeitsparcours sowie ein Augentraining-Workshop von Elisabeth Schmidt auf dem Programm.
Beide Veranstaltungen waren vollständig ausgebucht – ein klares Zeichen für das große Interesse an Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden.
