New Engine Package:Fully built and balanced 2.4L Puma Super-Duty engine with upgraded-ConRods,Pistons,Oil-Pump,Oil-Cooler and Filter Assembly and Duplex FEAD.
Engine will be RIG tested before installation,including compression and oil pressure sign-off.

Root Cause Analysis:It is always best practice to establish the root cause of any failure,whether individual or system before any new components or systems are installed.The nature of the failure indicate the destruction started at the piston end of the rod.This coupled with evidence of bore washing indicates a cylinder that was not being fueled correctly.The ECU was then inspected for correct loading of the injector factors,update history and if the flag was set which indicate all first learns were done.It failed on all counts,the end result being a cylinder with severely abnormal combustion activity causing it's operating cylinder pressures to exceed component tolerance.

The engine oil pan was removed which revealed the extent of the damage.
