Air circulation is one of the most overlooked factors in creating a controlled curing environment.
Without properly engineered airflow, heat can stratify, humidity can vary throughout the chamber, and colder areas can develop near floors, walls, or openings. The result can be uneven curing conditions that contribute to differences in color, surface quality, edge strength, and overall product consistency.
The goal is not simply to move more air.
Effective curing requires controlled, low-velocity air circulation that distributes heat and moisture throughout the chamber without accelerating moisture loss from fresh concrete.

Project Spotlight | Accelerated Curing for Tunnel Liner Production

Large-scale infrastructure production requires a curing system designed around the production process - not the other way around.
For this tunnel liner project at Stanton Bonna, Kraft Curing supplied a complete accelerated curing solution combining a containerized V***r Generator, retractable curing enclosures, automatic controls and a custom v***r distribution system.
The retractable enclosures provide flexible coverage over multiple curing zones, while stainless steel v***r valves, temperature and humidity sensors, and the PLC-based control system work together to automatically control curing temperatures throughout the curing cycle.

At the center of the system is Kraft’s direct-fired V***r Generator, providing controlled heat and humidity to accelerate concrete strength development and support consistent product quality.
From installation and commissioning to automated curing control, the system was engineered around the requirements of a large-scale precast infrastructure operation.
