What a day last Thursday in Berlin! Our Vice President Dr. Martino Celeghini attended the 15th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) 2023 in Berlin, and had the opportunity to exchange information and opinions on how to meet the current challenges to ensure global food security in times of climate crisis, pandemic, disruption of the global supply chain and geopolitical instability.

He was able to meet relevant representatives from the FAO, the United Nations, the European Commission, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the European Central Bank and discuss how the expertise of the CESCO group can be offered to ensure long-term stability of the food supply, especially in developing countries.

The GFFA is taking place from January 18 to 21 and should provide key impetus to the transformation of global foodsystems and promote international exchange.

At we proudly start the new year to announce our participation as invited speakers at the MIDDLE EAST REGIONAL FORUM 2023, an event that aims to provide a networking forum to discover the latest technologies and solutions in the grain storage and milling universe. The conference will be held from February 6th to 8th at the Mövenpick Hotel City Star in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and our company will present its know-how in the field of silo and mill construction to the entire audience of this prestigious event.

Our CEO and Vice President, Martino Celeghini, will give a lecture entitled “Silo Design and Construction” on February 6th, starting at 10:00 am, where our Director will first share the philosophy and guidelines for the design of the silo storage section for large ones Industrial plants, explaining some of the possibilities in silo and conveying design. In addition, Mr. Celeghini will present the peculiarities in the design of prismatic silos and steel structures for the mill plants, also showing examples of integrated building design from past and current references.

Peter has been working in the grain and seed business for 30 years, supplying the business worldwide with equipment for handling and storage as well as processing. He has been working at for 5 years, where he puts all his talent and experience into it every day.

Today we are proud to announce that has just opened a new logistics and assembly center in southern Germany.

On November 9, the first truck unloaded its shipment at the new CESCO EPC facility in Germany. On a total area of 1,000 m2, CESCO has set-up a new hall for the logistics and final assembly of its products for worldwide shipping.

This modern facility is located in the city of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg (Germany) on the industrial campus called The Plant, a strategic area northwest of the city center that is home to important technology companies such as SIEMENS and other start-ups.

This new logistics and assembly facility represents an important step in terms of innovation and infrastructure development for the company, creating an operational base close to its main suppliers and the other CESCO Group facilities in Wutha-Farnroda (Germany), Reggio Emilia (Italy), Zrenjanin (Serbia) and Zaragoza (Spain), thereby increasing the efficiency and flexibility of customer deliveries.

Today we show you the project carried out for Astara Grain Terminal LTD, a much needed logistical hub for transloading of grain in the Caspian region. A large train grain terminal composed of Flat Bottom Silos and Train/Truck Loading Silos, with a total storage capacity of 40,000 tons and a conveying capacity of 400 Ton/h.

Since the beginning of the works in 2020 until this year 2022, CESCO EPC has implemented the following services:

* Basic and Detail Engineering and design of the general layout and flow-chart of the whole plant
* Design of architectural drawing for the civil works calculation and realization
* Steel structures design and static calculation
* Delivery and installation of the silo plant, conveyors and steel part related to the silo and conveyors
* Electrical design, delivery and supervision of er****on of the central control and automation cabinet and the on-site electrical material
* Commissioning
* Training
