Two concepts – one mission: reliable steel ladle working linings.
📈 In steelmaking, the performance of the ladle lining defines safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of operations. Traditionally, working linings are built with alumina-magnesia-carbon, magnesia-carbon or dolomite-carbon bricks. This approach is well-established, but it comes with limitations such as joints, wear channels, and higher maintenance demand.
✔️At VGH Group, we also provide an alternative: monolithic ladle linings. Using high-performance alumina-spinel castables, both the bottom and side wall can be installed as a seamless monolithic structure.

Our subsidiary, Yingkou VGH Refractories Co. in China, has recently started operating a new, fully automated production line for unshaped refractories. This state-of-the-art facility specializes in high-alumina and alumina-silicate products for steel and iron manufacturing and is already running at full capacity.
Highlights:
- Fully automated production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes.
- Modern laboratory for rigorous quality testing.
- Certified processes ensuring top-tier quality standards.
