Notre Country Manager France & Belgique, Belinda K**K, a récemment eu le plaisir de rencontrer l’équipe d’anesthésie de Maria Middelares à Gand.

Cette visite a permis de partager des expériences autour de la prise en charge de la normothermie périopératoire, de l’utilisation des systèmes de réchauffement du patient au quotidien et de la place croissante qu’occupent les enjeux de durabilité dans les établissements de santé.
Les échanges ont également mis en lumière l’engagement de Maria Middelares en faveur d’une démarche structurée de développement durable. L’établissement s’est notamment distingué par son approche approfondie de la mesure et de l’analyse de son impact environnemental [mariamiddelares.be].

Des discussions ouvertes, pertinentes et enrichissantes avec une équipe qui partage la même volonté d’allier qualité des soins, innovation et responsabilité.

Un grand merci au Dr Alain Kalmar pour son invitation ainsi qu’à Hlin Gheldof pour l’excellente organisation de cette rencontre.

Our Country Manager France & Belgium, Belinda K**k, recently had the pleasure of meeting with the anaesthesia team at Maria Middelares Hospital in Ghent.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange perspectives on perioperative normothermia, daily patient warming practices, and the increasingly important role sustainability plays in healthcare decision-making.
One aspect that particularly stood out was Maria Middelares’ long-term commitment to sustainability.

Through a structured and ambitious approach, the hospital continues to demonstrate how environmental responsibility can be embedded alongside high-quality patient care.
The discussion was both insightful and inspiring, reflecting a shared commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and responsible healthcare.

Three days of the SGI annual meeting at the Congress Center Basel. Our Swiss partner Bitmedical AG showed the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® on stand 34: the reusable warming blankets and the warming unit, set up for the smallest patients.

The best demo is the one you can lie down on. Two days at the German Specialist Nursing Congress and OR Day in Münster, where our partner DBL Ahrens [Ahrens Textil-Service GmbH] showed the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® on their stand: reusable warming blankets and underlays, the TWINWARM BB, and the carbon footprint study on the lower-body blanket.

Thank you to the DBL Ahrens team for two days on the floor, and to everyone from anaesthesia, intensive care and OR nursing who came by.

Ein Tag in Murnau. Beim 16. Murnauer Intensivpflegetag an der BG Unfallklinik Murnau [BG Unfallklinik Murnau] war das MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® [MOECK & MOECK GmbH] in der Industrieausstellung auf Ebene 5 vertreten. Andreas Wallon von DBL Ahrens [Ahrens Textil-Service GmbH] hat den TWINWARM BB und die wiederverwendbaren Wärmedecken und Wärmeunterlagen gezeigt und mit Pflegekräften aus Intensiv, Anästhesie und IMC gesprochen.

Die Berge blieben in den Wolken, die Gespräche waren trotzdem gut. Danke an die BG Unfallklinik Murnau für die Organisation.

One day in Murnau. At the 16th Murnau Intensive Care Nursing Day at the BG Unfallklinik Murnau, the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® was part of the industry exhibition on level 5. Andreas Wallon from DBL Ahrens showed the TWINWARM BB and our reusable warming blankets and mats and talked to nurses from intensive care, anaesthesia and IMC.

The mountains stayed in the clouds, the conversations were good anyway. Thank you to the BG Unfallklinik Murnau for the organisation.
