OVATE WIRE TECHNOLOGY - LOBA VALVE SPRINGS

The advantages of an ovate wire over a round wire.
When utilizing the same height:
- 11% Lower high tension
- 10% Lower spring stroke tension
When designing the same tension:
- 15% Reduced block length
- 8% Lower spring stroke tension
+ 5% increased natural frequency

A NEW PRODUCT WAS BORN 🚼 LOBA VALVE SPRINGS 🏁

LOBA valve springs are made by superior grade “super-clean” multi-arc
Ovate Wire which results in optimized stress distribution.

Applied beehive design allows a smaller titanium retainer in order to decrease the active mass. The special coiling curve including damping coils on the bottom side provides an increased natural frequency at valve closed position and a damping effect to keep the valve train calm even at high rpm levels.

Performed hardening process and particular nitriding layer as well as a smooth top and bottom surface ensure maximal durability.

Another unique feature is the DLC coating of the titanium retainer which protects against abrasive wear.
